Each week we highlight a few of the more interesting items in the upcoming Aldi weekly ad. Note that, in our area, the ad takes effect on Wednesday, but in some areas it may take effect as early as Sunday.
This week’s theme is lawn care and gardening products, food highlights, outdoor furniture and accessories, pool gear and water fun, games, camping and outdoor recreation supplies, kitchen items, fans and climate control aids, apparel, and miscellaneous home goods.
Aldi is still stealth releasing some products, placing them on shelves without advertising them. This is most likely because of continuing supply chain snarls. Also, keep in mind that if you don’t see an advertised product in your local store, don’t assume your store won’t get it; it may simply be delayed.
The Most Interesting Thing We Saw:
- Ferrex 14″ Cordless Lawn Mower, $169.99. This features a 6-position adjustable cutting height, 13.4″ cutting width, and is good for lawns up to 1/8 acre. The electric motor does not require oil or gas. It includes a 1-bushel grass catcher with full bag indicator, a folding handle for space-saving storage, and a carry handle for easy transport. While we’ve seen Aldi sell lawn mowers before, this is the first time we’ve seen them sell an electric lawn mower. Read more information about this mower here.
