Simply Nature Organic Baby Spinach & Arugula Mix

We eat a lot of salad in my house. It’s versatile and easily customized. When I need a veggie side for dinner, I set out a salad mix along with various dressings and toppings such as tomatoes, cucumbers, diced peppers, pepitas, sunflower seeds, and sometimes hard-boiled eggs.

Because we eat salad often, the smaller bags of lettuce and other mixes don’t typically last long. I like to buy the large plastic clamshell of organic spring mix from Aldi, but that’s often more than we can eat before it spoils, and I end up having to compost whatever we can’t eat quickly enough.

One of the salad mixes that strikes a good balance for us in terms of size is the Simply Nature Organic Baby Spinach & Arugula Mix.

The Simply Nature Organic Baby Spinach & Arugula Mix is a Regular Buy. That means you should be able to find it at Aldi all year. It’s stocked in the refrigerated produce section near the other salad mixes.

I paid $2.59 for a 5-ounce package in 2026. That comes out to about 52 cents per ounce. We buy Aldi products for review using our own money.

The package states this contains a “mix of fresh baby spinach & arugula.” It also notes it does not contain Romaine.

I like how this mix includes spinach for some extra nutrients beyond your typical salad greens. It lasts about as long as any other boxed or bagged salad greens I buy, either from Aldi or from other regional grocery stores in my area.

The Verdict:

The Simply Nature Organic Baby Spinach & Arugula Mix at Aldi is a good option if you’re looking for a salad mix. This is one we buy regularly.
