If you’ve been wanting to create a home gym but missed out on all the New Year’s sales on exercise equipment, never fear. Aldi is known for rotating fitness gear into its middle aisle around the New Year and even into February, but thanks to supply chain snarls that are affecting everyone these days, the discount grocer continues to introduce fitness equipment into its stores even as spring is arriving this year.

The latest products we’ve seen at Aldi include a treadmill, an elliptical, a ProForm workout bench, a Weider workout bench, and an adjustable dumbbell set.

In early April of 2022, we spotted a balance trainer with resistance bands in the weekly Aldi ad.

What We Know:

Crane Balance Trainer with Resistance Bands

The Crane Balance Trainer with Resistance Bands (Product Code: 705997) cost $49.99 in April of 2022. That’s a lower cost than most balance trainers with resistance bands on the market, with many sets starting in the $60s, and some higher-end sets cost more than $100.

This is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Aldi does not offer online ordering for its specials if they are not in stock at your local store.

To the best of our knowledge, this appears to be the first time Aldi has sold both a balance trainer and resistance bands together. We’ve purchased resistance tubes from Aldi in the past, and Aldi has previously sold balance boards.

It comes with an exercise poster with instructions, but you can also find plenty of videos online with ideas for how to use a trainer like this.

This balance trainer comes with a two-year warranty through Aspiria Nonfood, a common Aldi warranty service provider. Aspiria is a German-based product supplier that has done warranty service for other exercise products from Aldi, including the Crane Adjustable DumbbellCrane Fitness Tummy TrimmerEasy Home Portable FanCrane Exercise Balls, and the Crane Kettle Bell Set.

What We Don’t Know:

We have not yet used the Crane Balance Trainer with Resistance Bands, so we don’t know how well it works or how durable it is. We write open threads to provide space for readers to talk about their experiences with a product.
