Aldi is the place most of us go to for deals on groceries and necessities. It used to be known as the stock-up store, where you could buy inexpensive staples such as canned goods and baking supplies, and it’s still a great store to purchase food from.
But of course, these days Aldi is just as famous for its rotating stock of non-food products in the middle aisles. Many of the non-food items at Aldi have low prices, such as reusable drinking straws or cookware or exercise accessories.
So it may be surprising to see Aldi also sell some expensive products, including furniture, large exercise equipment, grills, air conditioners, and outdoor items. If you buy any of these, you might be dropping several hundred dollars. Nevertheless, Aldi still offers some of the lowest prices around, even on big-ticket items. You’d often be challenged to find similar big products for less money.
What follows is a roundup of some of the most expensive products we’ve seen Aldi sell in recent years. Many of them were sold in the last year but there are a few older items on the list, too.
Belavi Outdoor Rattan Sectional
Cost: $449.99
Thoughts: Sold in May of 2022, this sectional is the most expensive product we’ve ever seen Aldi sell. It comes with the sectional couch, which features a reversible chaise lounge that can be configured to fit your space, and it includes a coffee table.

Belavi Patio Egg Chair
Cost: $449.99
Thoughts: This showed up at Aldi in June of 2022, and it’s the same price as the Aldi sectional that seats more people (and the sectional even comes with a coffee table, too). This seems like a lot of money for just one chair, but it does appear to be on the larger side compared to egg chairs we’ve seen at other retailers. Of note: Aldi almost immediately discounted it down to $300 in many stores, maybe realizing it would be a tough sell at its normal price.

ProForm Cadence LT Smart Treadmill
Cost: $389.99
Thoughts: This was sold in April of 2022 and is the second-most expensive price point we’ve ever seen from Aldi. It’s also the second treadmill we’ve seen Aldi sell in recent years. ProForm is not an Aldi-exclusive brand, and the Aldi price was similar to what other retailers sell this treadmill for. This treadmill is on the lower end of the price range for treadmills, though.

WORKZONE 2000-watt Portable Inverter Generator
Cost: $349.99
Thoughts: Sold in September of 2018, this was the most expensive Aldi product we’d seen until recently. This gasoline-powered generator provides power to your home during an outage or emergency.

ProForm Sport E2.0 Smart Elliptical
Cost: $299.99
Thoughts: Sold in March of 2022, this features the same name-brand ProForm label as the treadmills Aldi has offered.

Thoughts: Sold in February of 2021, this is another product in the ProForm line, which is a name brand that Aldi tends to sell when they stock big exercise equipment.

Belavi Large Fire Pit with Wood Storage
Cost: $219.99
Thoughts: Aldi sold this in June of 2022, and it’s unique because it comes with its own built-in wood storage under the fire pit. It’s middle-of-the-road in terms of cost compared to similar fire pits on the market.

Cost: $199.99
Thoughts: Sold in June of 2022, this brand is not exclusive to Aldi, but you’ll pay a lot less for this paddle board at Aldi versus paddle boards at other retailers.

Cost: $199.99
Thoughts: Sold in April of 2022, this handsome chair looks great in a living room or family room, dining room, office, or wherever you need some extra seating. Aldi has sold a few accent chairs over the years, but this is the priciest one to date.

Aldi Grills
The Aldi Range Master 4 Burner Gas Grill.
Cost: Aldi sells cheaper grills, but their pricier models have an upper end that ranges from $149.99-$249.99.
Thoughts: Aldi has sold several types of grills over the years, usually in the spring. Most of their grills are offered under the Aldi Range Master private label.
Easy Home 8000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner
In a sliding door installation.
Cost: $199.99
Thoughts: Sold in June of 2019. Aldi has sold several different air conditioners at different price points, usually during the spring or summer months. This is the most expensive one we’ve seen to date, but it still cost less than comparable name-brand models. It functions as an air conditioner, fan, or dehumidifier and can be installed in a window or sliding door.

Cost: $179.99
Thoughts: Sold in June of 2022, this is the only time we’ve seen Aldi sell a chiminea. The unique design helps to better control flame and smoke compared to a traditional open fire pit.

Thoughts: Sold in 2021 and 2022, these are the ultimate in cushy outdoor seating options. They’re about $90 apiece but since it’s a 2-pack the total cost puts it up on this list.

Thoughts: Sold in April of 2022, this is another ProForm name-brand product for those looking to add to their home gym collection. This workout bench has adjustable positions so you can target your whole body during your fitness routine.

Crane 50-Lb. Adjustable Dumbbell
Cost: $169.99
Thoughts: Sold in March of 2022, this is the most robust adjustable dumbbell set we’ve seen Aldi sell. Aldi sold less expensive lighter sets prior to this that only went up to 12.5 or 25 pounds maximum.

Thoughts: Sold in August of 2021, this was a popular item among Aldi super fans and prompted quite a bit of chatter on Aldi social media pages. This table was nice enough that many people purchased it to use as their indoor dining table. The only downside was that Aldi sold chairs for this table separately.

Thoughts: Aldi sold this gazebo again in the spring of 2022, but because they stealth released it due to supply chain uncertainties, we don’t know if the price is the same as in 2021 or if it’s increased. Our readers generally seem to like this gazebo, but some advise taking the canopy down prior to inclement weather.

Thoughts: Sold in June of 2021 and 2022, this is one of several air conditioner models Aldi has offered throughout the years. It’s not the most expensive model Aldi has sold, but it’s still one of the more expensive things we’ve spotted at Aldi.

Thoughts: Sold in December of 2021, this set is ideal for backyard entertaining, and both the projector and the screen cost less at Aldi compared to similar models from other retailers.

Thoughts: Sold in March of 2022, this is a nice accompaniment to some other accent furniture pieces Aldi has sold in recent years. Other matching pieces sold separately at different times include a two-door accent cabinet, a single-door accent cabinet, and a console table.
