When my family recently camped on the southern shores of Lake Michigan, we made daily walks from our campsite down a wooded trail that led to a boardwalk, which eventually led to the beach. We had a lot of beach gear, including a pop-up shelter, a folding blanket, a utility tote picnic basket, and plenty of buckets, shovels, and other beach toys. My parents, who were camping with us, let us use their folding utility cart they had brought along to haul all of our stuff. It made the walk much more pleasant, and its extra-wide wheels made it somewhat easier to pull our stuff through the sand.
My parents remarked that they take their folding cart many places, including recently to an air show where they had a long walk from the parking area to the viewing field. It was helpful for them to load their folding cart with their lawn chairs, water bottles, and other gear for the day.
A folding cart has one big advantage over a traditional wagon made of metal or plastic, and that is portability. Folding carts are a lot easier to pack in a vehicle trunk so you can take them out whenever you need them: to carry groceries, work gear, outdoor toys, picnic food, or whatever you need to haul.
For the last few years, Aldi has sold a multipurpose folding cart.
What We Know:
The Adventuridge Folding Multipurpose Cart (Product Code: 700584) cost $49.99 in May of 2023. That’s the same price it went for in 2022. That’s also a lot less than what most folding carts go for on Amazon.
This is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and once they sell out, that’s it unless Aldi decides to bring the cart back at some point. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that aren’t in stock at your local store.
If you miss out on buying the cart this time, Aldi is known to sell folding carts during the summer. Aldi sold this cart for $39.99 in the summer of 2020 and 2021.

We don’t know if the current cart comes with any kind of warranty, but the 2021 cart had a two-year warranty.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet tried this folding cart, so we don’t know how easily it assembles, how well it works, or how sturdy it is. We write open threads so readers can talk about their experiences with Aldi products.

I have bought 2 of these and had to return both. Same problem, one of the front wheels will not turn when installed. Upon inspection, seems as if one front wheel shaft is slightly bigger then the other and that might be the problem. I tried calling Adventuridge, thinking they could just send a new wheel. However I could not talk with customer service and voice mail kept cutting me off.

I came looking to see if anyone else had wheel problems. 3 of the wheels popped all the way on. Wheel #4 seems like it has an obstruction keeping it from popping on all the way. Tried to use it as is, but causes the other wheel to float bc it’s not level 🙁
I bought one and was so excited until I tried it and I have the same problem – one of the rear wheels does not move. I hope they will take it back because it is too hard to use like this.
I just bought one (not seeing this review.) I can’t figure out how to keep it from collapsing and I’m not sure what they consider the front or rear on the cart itself. In afraid to install the wheels after reading this review because it looks like they can’t be removed once they’re installed…
Now I’ve tried installing the wheels and they don’t even go into the squares holes…
I see the problem now is that the rear wheels don’t turn at all! This product needs to have the same front wheels also on the rear for this thing to work. Although the front wheels don’t turn consistently either. It’s poorly designed. It’s needs to have a rotating axis below the place where the wheels are installed for the wheels to properly work. Very frustrating! Hourly Aldi will fix this issue fur everyone who bought this cart
I have bought two and I guess I am the standout because both are amazing. I am disabled and they have helped me significantly in being able to buy groceries and bring them into my apartment building by myself. Also taking out trash and recycling. If I’m not mistaken the wheels by the handle are supposed to rotate while the other wheels are not supposed to rotate and I have had no problems with them working. When I put the first one together I did not understand and I accidentally put one of the wheels in the wrong place and it took a while but I figured out how to get it off and put it in the right place. They can handle a lot of weight. The first one I bought in 2020 and I use it regularly. It folds up easy or I can even just lift it straight into my car and when I do grocery pickup they load right into the wagon. We actually had a fire in my building and I had the wagon sitting by the door so when they let us into gather what belongings we needed for the night we had to be out of the building I was able to just throw my stuff in there and pull it out to my car unlike everyone else who was just trying to carry everything in their hands. I bought the second one in summer 2022 to use around the apartment for cleaning and moving stuff I figured it would be useful for me to have two of them and in case one goes at one point I would have a backup. Now I use both of them regularly for different things and again zero issues whatsoever
How did you get the wheel off? I made the same error of putting on the rear wheel wrong way.
It’s been 3 years so my memory isn’t 100 percent. There was a silver metal clip I removed from the bar where the wheels go in and I believe I flipped it upside down wrapped my legs around it to keep the body of it in place and just kept pulling really hard until it came off. I’m not sure if I did, but it would be like me to use a hammer tobang on the wheel a bit to encourage it (if you try go easy so not to break it!) I do remember it took a good while for me to notice the clip and by that point I figured out was my mistake, it couldn’t be returned, if I broke it was no different than it being unusable with the wheel in the wrong place. It came out with the metal scraped pretty good on the wheels bar, but did not affect it’s use. If you try, make sure to put the clip back in once the wheel is out so that the proper wheel can go in. I love this cart. Like others, I also managed to put the rear wheels on backwards. I called the manufacturer and a live person answered the phone. He was pleasant and extremely helpful. There’s a metal clip by the wheels that you need to slide off. I used a key once it slid far enough to allow me to stick the tip of my house key under it and pop it all the way off. Then I turned the wheel 90 degrees (they need to be parallel to the long side of the wagon) and replaced the clip. I’ve been using this wagon ever since with no issues. I live in a condo and trying to find an available cart behind the elevator to bring my groceries to my apartment was hit or miss so when Aldi offered this cart, I grabbed it. Even when it’s loaded up, it maneuvers easily and I’m not breaking my shoulder pulling this cart.
