The summer of 2022 seemed like “burn wood season” for Aldi. The grocer sold portable fire pits, large fire pits, and chimeneas. If you want a wood-burning solution for your patio or backyard, Aldi has sold more options for that than it has varieties of ketchup.
In July of 2022 Aldi added yet another wood-burning option to its middle aisle shelves: an outdoor log burner. Now, the phrase “log burner” isn’t something you see every day in America, although you see it more in the United Kingdom. In fact, Aldi UK has sold a log burner under the Gardenline label.
Now that same burner is headed to the States under the Belavi brand.
What We Know:
The Belavi Outdoor Log Burner is an Aldi Find. That means you can only find it in stores for a short time. Once it’s sold out, you won’t be able to get it in stores until it comes back. Aldi doesn’t ship products online, so if you can’t find it in your local store, you’re out of luck.
At the time of this post, the log burner costs $199.99.

What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t put this log burner to the test so we can’t tell how easily it assembles, how well it burns, or how durable it is under the elements. We’ve created this open thread for users to share their experiences.

We love ours. It’s well built, easy to assemble, is contained and looks like a fireplace. The price is great. We bought a grill cover to keep it lasting for years to come. The nice thing is it is easy to clean as the tray is removable.
Does it have a bottom to it, where the firewood lays? I’m wondering if the wood would have to lay on the deck. Thanks
I like the looks of the product, but when I opened the box there were no side screens in it. i called in and was told that they were out of them and should have some by the end of August. I called again and was told that they still do not have them and are not going to get them. They did not have any and shipped this to the store anyway. Not very reputable! I am trying to find replacements somewhere, but so far no luck. I am not sure it is safe to use without the side screens. An RA was offered, but I would like to keep it rather than return it. Can you help?
We’ve run into these kinds of issues with some of the warranty providers behind the bigger ticket items. It’s a point of frustration, and one we’ve dealt with as well. Unfortunately we don’t have any easy answers, either.
I also purchased this earlier in the year. Now that I opened it it’s missing the manual and all the screws. Can same give me the manufacturer’s model number from the Manual or the item number? Can’t seem to find it anywhere
We bought ours last year(2022) and are doing a backyard remodel. So I actually didn’t build it till yesterday (2023). And building it, simple. Easy follow directions, simple construction and everything went together just fine. It’s nice looking. We haven’t actually used it yet, still doing backyard remodel, but it looks nice. We’re excited and will update in the future.
Question is anyone find a nice cover to fit it? We have some birds who like to drop massive bombs all over our fence. Currently we flipped the empty box on top, but once it rains that will fail. Any suggestions?
