Over the years, Aldi has sold a variety of camping products, from tents and bedding to backpacks and accessories. While the quantity, timing, and the sourcing of the products can change from year to year, you can always expect the grocer to serve up a healthy dose of outdoor gear just in time to hammer in your stakes.

Here’s a roundup of the tents as well as the bedding. Keep in mind that all of these are Aldi Finds, which means that once they’re gone, you won’t see them again until next year.

Adventuridge 6-Person Tent

Product Code: 45173

Cost: $49.99

Manual: none online yet

Thoughts: This tent is manufactured by Wenzel, which makes a variety of tents, most of them with decent reviews. Available in blue or green, this 10 feet by 8 feet tent has a center height of 72 inches, or about 6 feet, which makes it a full 14 inches taller in the center (and thus $10 more expensive) than the 2019 Aldi 10×8 tent.

It’s advertised as a 6 person tent, although in our experience a tent of this size is probably better suited for 4 people, and even then only with a modest amount of gear. Like most tents of this type, it is a straightforward dome-style tent with a pin and ring system and a removable rain fly. Other features include a D-style door, an integrated mud mat, an E-port for electrical cords, and a mesh gear loft with lantern loop. It is advertised as water resistant, although we like applying tent sealer to tents before use. Fully packed, it weighs just under 14 pounds.

It comes with a 2-year warranty. We’ve used Wenzel’s warranty service before and had a positive experience.

Adventuridge 4-Person 9′ x 7′ Dome Tent

Product code: 58769

Cost: $29.99

Manual: 20172016

Thoughts: Another Wenzel tent, Aldi has been selling this model for several years. It comes in blue or green and uses the standard dome style common to tents of this size. Setup is straightforward, and little extras like an e-port and a zipper cover on the D-syle door are a plus. It’s 48″ tall at the center and weighs 8.64 pounds, making it a candidate for backpack camping. It is listed as a 4-person tent, but in our experience tents of this size are best suited for two people. We’ve tested it, and while it’s got some limitations, it’s a good budget tent. As of 2020, this tent comes with a 2-year warranty, serviced through Wenzel.

Adventuridge Cold Weather Hooded Sleeping Bag

Product Code: 700963

Cost: $14.99

Manual: none online yet

Thoughts: While we’ve seen Aldi sell traditional sleeping bags before, 2020 was the first year we saw a hooded sleeping bag. This one, available in blue or green, advertises itself as having a 47 °F comfort rating, a 38 °F comfort limit, and a 14 °F extreme rating. It measures 7 feet 7 inches long and 2 feet 8 inches across, and weighs about 3 1/2 pounds packed. It includes a sealable compression storage sack and an elastic strap for storage.

Adventuridge Warm Weather Sleeping Bag

Product Code: 45084

Cost: $9.89

Manual: none online yet

Thoughts: This sleeping bag, made by tent maker Wenzel, has a 50 degree comfort rating, making it more suitable in most places to summer months. It measures 6 feet 3 inches long and 2 feet nine inches wide, and has a carry weight of 3.3 pounds. Made of polyester and featuring a full length self-repairing zipper, it is machine washable. It also comes with elastic straps for packing. The bag is available in blue or green and has a 2-year warranty.

Adventuridge Ultralight Travel Hammock

Product Code: 800668

Cost: $12.99

Manual: none online yet

Thoughts: This looks very similar to the travel hammocks Aldi has sold in the past, which we’ve used with some success. It comes with two guy ropes with loops — each rope is 8 feet 2 inches long and has 13 different loops — as well as two steel carabiners and a carry bag. In our experience, this particular design is best for trees about 11-12 feet apart. It currently comes in three designs: pattern, green / orange, or blue / yellow. The hammock has a 2-year warranty.

Adventuridge Portable Hammock with Stand

Product Code: 801091

Cost: $49.99

Manual: none online yet

Thoughts: Measuring 106.3 inches long and 33.5 inches wide, and with a carry weight of 20 pounds, this steel frame portable hammock comes with an integrated cup holder, removable pillow, built in storage net, mesh insert for ventilation, and integrated storage pouch. The hammock has a user weight limit of 298 pounds. It comes in either blue or green.

Adventuridge Easy Fold Camping Cot

Product Code: 800700

Cost: $24.99

Manual: none online yet

Thoughts: Prior to 2020, Aldi sometimes sold camping cots, but they were large, heavy setups. This one is similar in dimensions to the old ones — about 74 inches long x 29.5 inches wide x 7.3 inches high — but it employs more Army-style feet, which makes it lighter. (Whether it’s easier to assemble, we’ll leave that to you to decide.) It comes in either blue or green and includes a carry bag.

Adventuridge 4-in-1 Airbed

Product Code: 800632

Cost: $24.99

Manual: 2018

Thoughts: Aldi has been selling this airbed for a few years now, and as of 2020 the price is $24.99, higher than the $19.99 we’ve seen in years past. Available in blue or green, this package contains 2 single beds, 2 pillows, a carry bag, a hand pump, and a repair patch. Each bed measures 75 inches long, 29 inches wide, and 9 inches high, and each bed has a 200 pound weight limit. The 4-in-1 name refers to the four ways the beds can be assembled: as a high-raised single bed, a double bed, two single beds, or just one single bed if you want. Each bed has vinyl coil beam construction and a waterproof flocked top that prevents sheets from slipping. It does not come with a warranty.

Bestway Queen Air Bed with Pump

Product Code: 800442

Cost: $22.99

Manual: none online yet

Thoughts: In the past, Aldi has sold air mattresses under its own Adventuridge label, but in 2020 Aldi sold one under the Bestway brand, known for inflatable outdoor accessories. It measures 80 inches long, 60 inches wide, and 8.5 inches high, with a plush top. It sports a no-leak valve, a 661-pound weight capacity, and is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. It comes with both a storage bag and a battery-powered pump (batteries probably not included). This airbed is available in blue or green.

  1. We purchased the Adventuridge 6-Person Tent last year. I was so impressed that we went back for the quick pop-up cabin but it was already sold I. I’m holding out hope that the cabin makes a return this year.

The Mummy bags and self-inflating pads were also great quality even with heavy use.

I just bought the Adventuridge 6 man tent a couple of days ago. Set it up yesterday and when we work up today both polls were broke…??!t

  3. Same thing happened to me . Purchased 6 person adventuridge tent. Had it set up for a few hours when 4 of poles that support the tent broke which caused the tent to collapsed. It is brand new and was never used, but its totally useless now.
Called customer service for warranty but due to pandemic no help is available.
I would not buy this tent again it is a terrible product that must have some manufacturing defects in the construction of the support poles causing them to break.

  4. I recently used my adventure ridge 5 person instant tent I purchased from Aldi. I followed the instructions to set up and they are in correct which caused the pole to break. The instructions should swap 4 in place of 3 and the product was not reimbursed by Aldi , I purchased the product some time ago on special and have lost the rceipt and they would not honour the return.

  5. Tent poles broke on our first use. Very disappointing.
