Over the last couple of years, we’ve heard a lot about the importance of air purifiers and products that improve ventilation in enclosed spaces. Aldi is one to follow trends, and the discount grocer has sold its share of air purifiers, ranging from name-brand HomeMedics air purifiers to allergen removers.
In the spring of 2022, Aldi offered another air purifier. This time, it’s a small desktop model perfect for using in the office or anywhere you want to clean up the air. Even better: it also includes a fan.
What We Know:
The Easy Home True HEPA Desktop Air Purifier & Fan (Product Code: 706421) cost $39.99 at the time of publication. That’s within the price range of some other small desktop air purifiers that Amazon sells, although it’s not easy to find air purifiers that also include a fan like the Aldi model has.
This is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. You can’t order it online from Aldi if it’s not in stock at your local store.
To the best of our knowledge, Aldi has not sold a desktop air purifier and fan like this before.
Here’s more information on the air purifier and fan, according to Aldi:
- True HEPA protection
- UV light
- Three speed settings
- Converts to fan
- Removes up to 99.7% of airborne particles
This comes with a one-year warranty serviced by Wachsmuth and Krogmann, a common Aldi warranty service provider. Wachsmuth and Krogmann has also serviced the Ambiano Cotton Candy and Mini Popcorn Machines, the Easy Home Stick Vacuum, and the Ambiano Toaster Oven.
What We Don’t Know:
We have not yet tried this Easy Home True HEPA Desktop Air Purifier & Fan, so we don’t know how well it works. We write open threads so readers can share about their experiences with a product.

I think this is what I figured out as compatible. Wasn’t easy
I emailed the company (customer-service@wk-usa.com) and received the following reply:
Replacement (Desktop Air Purifier and Fan 20222 HEPA Filter) are available for $9 (includes shipping and handling). We only accept money orders or checks. Please send check or money order to: W&K Inc, 1015 Hawthorn Drive, Itasca, IL 60143, Please include your full name, address, phone number, Product code/Model number of the whole unit and list the part/s as listed in your manual.
This is crazy. Too much work just to get a replacement filter.

I agree with you. Sorry but I am not willing to pay the cost of a money order these days for a 9 dollars item
After hours of unrelenting search, I may have found a solution.
They arrive on the 15th. I will let you know how it goes.

The filter is in store? Where!?
It would definitely need to be for a small space as the air flow through the unit seems to be pretty light. I’d be curious to know what the specs are on air movement for this product. Other than that, it seems to be pretty solid. It does occasionally give a little whine while it’s working, although just touching the unit seems to correct that 90% of the time.
So far so good. My eye’s and nose feel soo good left on night stand. Looking for filters
Where to buy filters?
I bought this and leave in my bedroom. My nasal passages are nice and clear in the morning. I even took it with me when I went to visit family for a month. I know im going to need a new filter, hopefully that’s not a problem.
I like it alot – but searching for replacement filters on line proving difficult and the name/model/ true hepa (13) not pon box and does not come up at all – just comparables so a risk to orderr? Someone up top Mentioned CRANE co. This must be the original brand and Aldi rebrands as Easy Home. They should have paperwork inside showing WHERE and what name to get replacement filters. Amazon link below. I’m going to try.
