Spring is in the air, and it’s time to dust off the patio furniture, sweep the deck, fire up the grill, and enjoy the great outdoors in your backyard. Aldi sells everything you need to decorate your outdoor space for the season. My own front porch and back yard have a large collection of Aldi products, including a two-person glider, a two-person swing, a patio umbrella, a fire ring, a children’s disc swing, garden decorations, and various planters for flowers and veggies.

In the most recent Aldi ad, I noticed something new for the outdoors: a solar fire bowl. This offers some ambient light and a flickering flame effect without the fire risk of an open flame, making it a nice option for placing on a walkway, porch railing, or outdoor dining table or end table.

What We Know:

Belavi Solar Fire Bowl

The Belavi Solar Fire Bowl (Product Code: 706436) cost $16.99 in May of 2023.

This Aldi solar fire bowl looks similar to a solar table light on Amazon that cost $24 at the time of publication. So it looks like the Aldi version is a good deal.

This is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back at some later point. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are not in stock at your local store.

This is sold under the Belavi brand, which is not a company. Instead, it’s the private label Aldi uses for various gardening and outdoor products such as rattan bar carts, patio dining tables, gazebos, and more.

Here’s more information about the solar fire bowl, according to Aldi:

  • Dimensions: 9.84″ x 9.84″ x 7.68″
  • Available in Original Metallic Finish or Bronze/Copper Finish
  • Soothing simulated flame illuminates up to 6 hours
  • Solar powered
  • Weather resistant
  • Great for indoor or outdoor use
  • Comes with a one-year warranty

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t yet tried one of these solar fire bowls, so we don’t know how well they work or how they hold up to use. We write open threads so readers can talk about their experiences with Aldi products.

  1. This fire bowl is truly incredible. It glows & flickers from dusk until dawn after a single day out in the sun. The 8 hour solar charge is lasting multiple evenings/nights. The glow is realistic. Love this item!

  2. I received a few as a gift. LOVE them! I need three more and can’t find them anywhere??!! 🙁

  3. As above, really nice design. Battery and solar cells enough to flicker all night, even in Montana. First such solar-cell, battery, light arrangement I’ve seen that actually works.

  4. Wonderful product, surpassed my expectations and wished I had purchased more. Hopefully Aldi will have it available again.

  5. I purchased 2 of these solar Fire Bowls at Aldi in May. One of the Solar Fire Bowls continue to recharge and light up when it gets dark however the 2nd Solar Fire Bowl will not hold a charge and as a result does not light up when it gets dark. There is a one year warranty on this product. I have the receipt. Will Aldi refund my money?

    • I recommend contacting the company that services the warranty. In my experience with other Aldi products under warranty, the warranty company will usually refund your money if they can’t replace your product.

  6. I bought this in May and it has way exceeded my expectations! I forgot where I had bought it and since November I’ve been trying to find it everywhere so I could buy several more. It’s large, looks like real fire, it’s lit consistently mostly all night and just really classy. Tonight in Jauary 2024 while organizing tax receipts, I read an Aldi receipt and there it was!!! Just having the proper name to search, solved the problem. I see it listed at Amazon for much more…but Yes! It’s the best outdoor solar light I have bought. I wish Aldi would sell again in the Spring!!
