EDITOR’S NOTE: Updated for 2024.

With warmer weather on our doorsteps, it’s time to find ways to occupy the kids outdoors. Aldi sells some great outside entertainment options, whether you want swimming pools and giant sprinklers or oversized yard games, trampolines, sand and water “play kitchens,” and nest swings.

This spring, Aldi is offering another option to keep the kids busy, both inside and outside, so you always have a backup plan even during rainy days. Aldi is selling a Bee Happy 5-in-1 Activity Table.

What We Know:

Bee Happy 5-in-1 Activity Table

The 2022 model.

The Bee Happy 5-in-1 Activity Table (Product Code: 703040) cost $29.99 in January of 2024 and February of 2023. It sold for $24.99 in April of 2022. That’s less money than most similar activity tables at retailers such as Amazon.

The activity table is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store receives one shipment, and after that sells out, they’re gone. You can’t order it online from Aldi if it’s not in stock at your local store.

Bee Happy is an Aldi private label that encompasses all kinds of toys and products for kids. Bee Happy products over the years have included bubble blasters, knockoff American Girl dolls, planet hoppers, and larger-than-life stuffed animals.

Here’s more information on the 2024 Bee Happy 5-in-1 Activity Table, according to Aldi:

  • Features a two-sided table surface
  • One side is a flat surface for drawing, writing, and other creative activities, and the other side is a construction surface for building blocks
  • Includes a chair, small water bucket (which can be fixed to the table legs), 4 sand molds, 50-piece building blocks, and extension legs
  • Inside the table is a large plug that acts as a stabilizer for the table surface and a small plug to keep water/sand inside the table
  • Table folds up for storage
  • For ages 3+

We’re not sure, but if the Aldi ad photos are any indication, this may be considered a 5-in-1 table because it can be used for crafts/learning/general play, as a construction/building table with LEGO-style blocks, as a sand table, as a water table, or as a small dining table.

We’re also not certain if this table comes with any kind of warranty, but the warranty page on the Aldi website lists a Bee Happy 5-in-1 Activity Table from February of 2021 with a two-year warranty. We have no record of Aldi previously selling a table like this one. We don’t know for sure, but this activity table might be a more extreme example of the supply chain snarls we’ve seen over the past couple of years. It’s possible Aldi intended to sell this in February of 2021, but it simply didn’t get here until the spring of 2022.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t yet tried this activity table, so we don’t know how easily it assembles, how well it works, or how durable it is. We also don’t know the table’s dimensions. We write open threads so readers can share about their experiences with products.

  1. Picked one up today and I have to hope they still have some left for my other kids. Great size for 18m-5yrs. It’s been used for Legos and sand today. The Legos thar come with it are smaller in height but the same base as duplo blocks so we were able to add to our board and then put them into the same stash. That was surprisingly pleasing. It does have embossed stamping on the flat side of the table so you’ll always need a base under what you’re working on. The game changer for me was that it comes with connectors so you can connect more than one table together- which is why I must go back for my other kids. You could have a wash, rinse, dry line or one side with sand and one with water. There is a very similar one on Amazon selling for 55$

  2. I can’t figure out how to “unlock” the yellow sides to the flat side of the tabletop, help!
