Aldi is Selling a Mini Raised Planter

Last Updated on June 17, 2022

EDITOR’S NOTE: We were able to find and purchase the Belavi Mini Raised Planter, and you can read our full review here

In April of 2021, Aldi sold a wooden raised planter that was so popular and in such short supply that most stores quickly sold out of their limited stock. I went to a local Aldi on the morning the planters were scheduled to hit shelves, and the manager told me they only received two planters, both of which sold soon after the store opened for the day. I was disappointed but figured it wasn’t meant to be.

Then, in late June of 2021, Aldi brought the raised planter back in miniature form.

What We Know:

Belavi Mini Raised Planter

The Belavi Mini Raised Planter in Green.

The Belavi Mini Raised Planter (product code 804748) cost $18.99 in June of 2021. It’s slated to arrive in stores the week of June 30th.

It’s an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. Aldi does not offer online ordering for its specials once they sell out at your local store, so if you want one, don’t delay.

I have never before seen Aldi sell this mini raised planter, just as I’d never seen Aldi sell the full-sized raised planter in the past either. Both planters are part of the new Aldi private label line, Belavi.

This mini planter stands just under two feet tall and is less than two feet wide. That’s smaller than the other one Aldi sold, which was about three feet wide and two and half feet tall.

Here’s more information about the mini planter:

  • Rust and UV resistant
  • Includes drainage hole
  • Plants not included
  • Measures 23.62″ x 10.63″ x 17.71″
  • Planter Capacity: 5.2 gallons
  • Available in Green, Gray, or Black

What We Don’t Know:

I’m waiting for this to arrive in stores so I can hopefully score one. Until then, I don’t know how easy it is to assemble this planter, what its measurements are, how durable it is, or if it comes with a warranty.

If I can get my hands on one of these mini planters, I’ll post about it. Wish me luck.

  1. I’m taking mine back. No way am I anchoring it into an outside wall!
It has a 3 year warranty but for what? It is too small and no depth to plant anything I can think of in and you cannot let it stand on concrete like a patio, etc…..Rust eventually I would imagine but it is just too small for anything and I fear it will leak – not food for metal even though powder coated. I read the instructions and it’s an easy install (up to the anchoring part) but it makes no sense – no room or depth for anything. So sad, as I thought I would be happy with this.

    • I don’t plan to anchor mine. It’s too small to really need anchoring. It’s fine for planting annual flowering plants.

I purchased one of these last week and am very happy with it. I have it outside in a shaded sitting area and it defines that specific area. Yes, it’s small, but I knew that when I bought it. I’ve put a large container of impatiens in the middle and have some creeping Jenny on each side. It was very easy to assemble.

  3. I like mine. I knew it would be small. It compliments a large metal planter that I bought elsewhere. I sit pots of flowers in them both. I like the small one as it can fit in the house for house plants.

    • I haven’t figured out what I want to put in mine yet, but I also thought it might look good with potted plants sitting inside it.

  4. Just bought this at my local Aldi yesterday for $29.99. Same exact item. I was excited to find it, but I guess the price went up over 50%. Still am happy with it!
