If the idea of giving flowers, perfume, or other traditional gifts for Mother’s Day does not sound appealing, how about cheese? Aldi sells novelty cheeses for just about any holiday, including Christmas, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, and Halloween. This year, Mother’s Day is getting its own special cheeses.
These Emporium Selection cheeses are Aldi Finds (Special Buys), which means they’ll only be around for a short time. Once they’re gone, you’ll have to wait until next year. Aldi does not offer online ordering for specials like these if they’re out of stock at your local store.
There are two cheeses from which to choose, and you’ll find both in the refrigerated Aldi Find section at your local store, while supplies last.
Emporium Selection Mom You’re Really Grate Mature Cheddar Cheese
This is sold in a heart shape covered with red wax. It’s 5.29 oz. and one serving will net you 120 calories. You generally can’t go wrong with cheddar.
Emporium Selection Who Needs Flowers When You Can Have Cheese? Wensleydale Cheese with Strawberry & Prosecco
This is sold in a tulip shape covered with pink wax. It’s also 5.29 ounces, and one serving has 110 calories. This is a more adventurous cheese flavor, for those who like to mix savory and sweet flavors.
We can’t wait to see if Aldi sells specialty cheese later for Father’s Day. What would that look like?
