Aldi is Selling Stars and Stripes Cheese for the Fourth of July

Last Updated on June 11, 2021

EDITOR’S NOTE: Aldi is selling this patriotic cheese again during June of 2021 for the same price of $3.99 each.

Another holiday is approaching, so it’s time for Aldi to roll out some new novelty cheese. Whether it’s Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Halloween, or Christmas, Aldi keeps us entertained in the cheese department. Now, as Americans prepare to observe Independence Day, Aldi is selling a Stars and Stripes cheese assortment.

The Emporium Selection Stars & Stripes Cheese Assortment hits stores the week of June 17th, 2020, and consists of three different cheese flavors packaged in red, white, and blue wax. Each flavor is sold separately, with each costing $3.99 for a 5.29-oz. block.

Here’s a closer look at each of the American flag-inspired cheese varieties Aldi is selling for the Fourth of July:

Emporium Selection Stars & Stripes Cheddar Cheese

This is a classic cheddar cheese that comes packaged in white wax shaped like a star, with a bright blue label.

Emporium Selection Stars & Stripes Red Leicester Cheese

This cheese includes chipotle peppers and peppercorns for those who like their cheese with some kick, and it is packaged in red wax shaped like a rectangle. It’s one of the clever “stripe” components of this “stars and stripes” cheese assortment.

Emporium Selection Stars & Stripes Wensleydale Cheese

This cheese has lemon curd and dried blueberries, for the cheese lovers out there who are feeling more adventurous. It’s packaged in dark blue wax shaped like a rectangle — another “stripe” in the “stars and stripes.”

Remember, these are all Aldi Finds, which means they’ll only be in stores for a limited time, and once this patriotic cheese is gone, you’ll have to wait to see what Aldi comes up with next year.
