Aldi is known to sell technology and technological accessories from time to time. Some are sold by Medion, a separate company that sells products in Aldi stores, while others are sold under Aldi private labels, most often Bauhn.
Bauhn is an Aldi private label that goes back longer than we’ve been around. It’s the label Aldi uses for a number of technology products, including clocks, headphones, and charging stations.
In the spring of 2021, Aldi served up a few Bauhn office products, many of which we’d never seen in stores before. All of them are Aldi Finds, which means they’re only in stores for a short time. Aldi doesn’t sell products online, so once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Let’s take a closer look.

This laptop stand (Product Code: 703952) is designed to sit on a desk and elevate the profile of a laptop. It currently costs $39.99, which is, surprisingly, a little more than some of the ones I’ve seen online. It has both an adjustable height of up to 18.9 inches and an adjustable angle. It also has USB-powered fans on the bottom for device ventilation.
The stand comes with a 2-year warranty (Aldi’s site says 1 year but the box and warranty card say 2) serviced by Balco Lifestyle.
You can use it in a number of ways. It could be used to turn a sitting desk into something more like a standing desk, or to elevate a laptop on a desk that is excessively short. One of my favorite uses for a stand like this one is to elevate the laptop, then place a mouse and keyboard on the desk surface itself, turning the laptop screen into an elevated monitor.
Bauhn Side Mount Monitor Clip
This accessory (Product Code: 703954) comes in black or white and is designed to attach a smartphone or tablet to a laptop. It currently sells for $9.99, which is comparable to similar products in other places.
The clip has a 1-year warranty, backed by Atomi USA.
I can think of a few ways this device could be useful. It could turn a smartphone or tablet into a kind of second monitor, running a separate app or website. It could also be useful for keeping your phone at eye level if your work requires you to have your phone at the ready. It might also be good for keeping everything together if you’re working at a public place and you’re worried about leaving something behind.
Bauhn Premium Power Bank
This 10,000mAh battery (Product Code: 703955) is designed to charge two devices simultaneously. It sells for $19.99, which is competitive compared to the prices for others I’ve seen online. According to Aldi, features include:
- a digital LCD that displays exact battery percentage remaining
- charge indicators that provide nondisruptive LED charge status
- a smart charge that “identifies your device and delivers the quickest charge”
The battery has a 2-year warranty, serviced by Atomi USA.
Keep in mind that, depending on your device, you might need your own cord to use this bank. That’s especially true if you own an iPhone, but if you own an iPhone you probably already knew that. Power banks are good for those rare instances when I’m not close to a plug, like when I’m camping. They’re also useful for public places like airports that have USB ports that I may not fully trust.
Bauhn Pyramid, Surge Mini, or 4-Port Charger
These plugs (Product Code: 55676) cost $14.99 each, which is about on par for a pyramid, surge mini, or 4-port charger. The pyramid charger is 12W and comes with two USB ports, three outlets, and surge protection. The 4-port charger is 30W and has four USB ports. The surge mini charger has two power outlets, two USB ports, a 360° rotating design to fit different outlets, and surge protection.
According to Aldi, all of the devices have “smart charging capabilities.”
The battery has a 2-year warranty. As with the clip and the battery, the warranty is provided by Atomi USA.
I can think of a number of different ways you might use these. They could be helpful at home if you’re trying to create some sort of charging station for the family. They might be useful at an office in creating a place to plug things in. They might be worthwhile if you’re running a small business and need charging solutions for workers or customers. I could even see packing one of these for a trip if you needed to set up a portable office or display and needed to be able to charge a few things.
