Aldi Recalls Southern Grove Mixed Nuts with Sea Salt Due to Undeclared Allergen

On August 20th, 2020, Aldi recalled its Southern Grove Mixed Nuts with Sea Salt over concerns about the possible presence of an undeclared allergen: Brazil Nuts.

Southern Grove Mixed Nuts with Sea Salt have been removed from stores in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.

ALDI Voluntarily Recalls Southern Grove Mixed Nuts with Sea Salt from Superior Nut Company Due to Potential Presence of Undeclared Allergen

Batavia, Ill. (August 20, 2020) – In partnership with Superior Nut Company, ALDI has voluntarily recalled Southern Grove Mixed Nuts with Sea Salt as a precautionary measure due to the potential presence of an undeclared allergen, specifically Brazil Nuts.

ALDI has removed the affected product from select ALDI stores in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont. The items were also available for purchase through the company’s partnership with Instacart, a grocery delivery service.

Mixed Nuts Recall

ALDI takes the safety and integrity of the products it sells seriously. If customers have product affected by this voluntary recall, they should discard it immediately or return it to their local store for a full refund.
