EDITOR’S NOTE: Aldi sold this pogo jumper again in 2023 for a lower price of $7.99. This is part of a trend we’ve seen lately of price drops on certain Aldi Finds

Throughout the year, Aldi sells all kinds of toys for children. Whether you’re looking to stock a playroom with dolls, puzzles, toy cars, giant stuffed animals, or a miniature Aldi food market with play food, the discount grocer is a great place to shop for younger people. Aldi also sells toys for active outdoor play. We’ve seen them sell disc swings, nest swings, bubble blasters, 5-in-1 activity tables, and planet hoppers (like a Pogo Ball). Most toys at Aldi are sold under the store’s Bee Happy private label.

Most recently, I spotted a pogo jumper at Aldi. This unique toy features a foam piece to stand on, which is connected by bungee tubes to a handle with soft grips. To use, you step onto the foam block base, grab the handles, and start jumping. Foam pogo jumpers like this are sold at a variety of retailers, including Amazon and Walmart. They’re good for kids who are too young or aren’t ready for a traditional pogo stick. Because it’s made of soft foam, it could also be used indoors without worrying about damaging floors.

Bee Happy Pogo Jumper

The Bee Happy Pogo Jumper cost $9.99 at the time of publication. (I scored ours for $4.99 on clearance. Individual store managers appear to have discretion about putting products on clearance, so whether an item is clearanced may depend on your area store.) Even at full price, the Aldi pogo jumper is on the lower end of what you’ll pay for most similar foam pogo jumpers from retailers such as Walmart and Amazon, where they cost between $10 and $20 at the time of publication.

This pogo jumper is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that aren’t in stock in your local store.

Bee Happy Pogo Jumper

Ten-year-old on the pogo jumper.

My family had fun trying this out on our patio. It will probably get the most use from the elementary schooler in the house, but the teenager and I also tried it.

The squeaky feature is kind of funny, and this jumper will definitely give you a good workout. It doesn’t have a lot of bounce, and that is where it differs the most from a traditional pogo stick, but it’s still a neat toy. The elementary-aged tester felt like it was hard to keep her feet on the foam block because it’s soft and somewhat squishy. Time will tell, but that may just be an issue of needing some more practice jumping on this.

I appreciate that this can hold teens and adults as well as young children, and the bungee tubes stretch to accommodate an individual jumper’s height. Even as a 5’6″ adult, I didn’t have any trouble holding onto the handles while jumping.

The Verdict:

The Bee Happy Pogo Jumper features a foam block to stand on, which is connected with bungee tubes to soft foam handles. To use, simply step onto the foam block, grab the handles, and start jumping. For added fun, this makes a squeaking sound every time you jump (don’t worry; it isn’t too loud). This pogo jumper supports up to 220 pounds, offering fun active play for the family. It’s worth a look if you want a way to keep the kids — and grownups — busy this summer.
