Peanut butter and chocolate just go together. They’re a pair, like salt and pepper, or macaroni and cheese, or bacon and eggs. Peanut butter and chocolate are such a natural pairing that you often find them together at the grocery store in ice cream (moosetracks is one of my personal favorites), cookies, and candy.
There probably isn’t a more classic chocolate and peanut butter candy than peanut butter cups. Aldi sells both name brand Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups as well as store brand Choceur Peanut Butter Cups. Aldi peanut butter cups are good, and only a few years ago, they were so popular Aldi had trouble keeping them in stock. They’re different from Reese’s, with a smoother peanut butter.
Knowing how good the peanut butter cups under the Aldi Choceur private label are, I was interested when I saw Aldi roll out some bunny-shaped peanut butter cups prior to the Easter season this year.
Choceur Peanut Butter Bunnies cost $3.49 for a 6-ounce package at the time of publication. The package describes these as “milk chocolate bunnies with peanut butter filling.”
This is an Aldi Find, so it’s in stores for just a limited time. Each store gets one shipment ahead of the Easter season, and after that sells out, you have to wait until next year. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products not in stock at your local store.

These bunnies are kosher.
If you’re looking out for allergens, they contain milk, peanut, and soy. They may contain egg, tree nuts, and wheat.
The peanut butter bunnies are individually wrapped.
One package has about five servings. One serving consists of three bunnies. The package I purchased had 16 chocolate and peanut butter bunnies, or five servings plus one extra single bunny. At $3.49 for a package, that comes out to about 22 cents per bunny.
Naturally, they’re not great for you and have a lot of calories, fat, and sugar. One three-bunny serving will net you 190 calories, 11 grams of total fat (14% DV), 6 grams of saturated fat (30% DV), 85 mg of sodium (4% DV), 19 grams of total carbohydrates (7% DV), 18 grams of total sugars, and 16 grams of added sugars (32% DV).
These peanut butter bunnies are tasty and remind me of what Aldi Regular Buy peanut butter cups are like. They feature milk chocolate bunnies with a thick layer of chocolate on the bottom and thinner chocolate in a rabbit-shaped mold on top. The peanut butter inside is smooth and rich.
There’s a decent amount of peanut butter inside these, and they have the taste and texture of something more gourmet rather than chocolate from a discount grocery store. These would make a nice small gift, or put them in an Easter basket. Because they’re individually wrapped, they’re also good for putting in plastic Easter eggs or otherwise handing out and sharing.
The Verdict:
Choceur Peanut Butter Bunnies are a limited-time special, individually wrapped candy Aldi is selling for the Easter season. They feature smooth peanut butter and decadent milk chocolate all in a cute bunny shape. These would be great as part of a springtime or Easter candy and dessert spread, or tuck them into Easter baskets or plastic eggs.
