EDITOR’S NOTE: Aldi sold a 6-in-1 Multi Game Center ( Product Code: 710712) for $29.99 in November of 2023. It’s $10 less than the 2022 8-in-1 Multi-Game Center. The 2023 game center looks practically identical to the 2022 game center, except that the 2023 version does not include Axe Throwing or Target Shooting (thus making it a 6-in-1 game center instead of an 8-in-1 game center). Both 2023 and 2022 game centers include: Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Football, Archery, and Disc Toss.

Boredom, someone once said, is your imagination calling to you. I agree, but, hey, it never helps to give imagination a little help sometimes. When someone isn’t sure what to do, a few tools don’t hurt, especially ones that involve physical activity.

Finding constructive things to do with time can be a useful life skill for kids to learn. And having a light touch offering things to help them dream is nice, too. Sets that offer multiple game options in one are a bonus, because they can be versatile without taking up excessive space.

Multi-game sets are popular around the winter holidays as presents to put around the Christmas tree. Many big-box stores sell them. Leave it to Aldi, then, to toss out a set of its own, under the grocer’s Crane private label.

Crane is not a separate company. Instead, it’s the label Aldi uses for various sports, fitness, or outdoor products. Other things we’ve seen at Aldi under the Cane brand include an instant canopy, a portable table, and a rechargeable portable neck fan.

What We Know:

Crane 8-in-1 Multi-Game Center

The Crane 8-in-1 Multi-Game Center (Product Code: 702510) is an Aldi Find. That means it’s only in stores for a short time. Once it’s gone, it’s gone, and you won’t be able to find it until it comes back, which is likely the next holiday season, if ever. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products not in stock at your local store.

At the time of this post, the center costs $39.99. I couldn’t find too many direct comparisons online, but multi-game centers in general tend to run a lot more than that price.

According to Aldi, the set is approximately 5’10” tall and includes the following games:

  • basketball
  • archery
  • axe throwing
  • soccer
  • baseball
  • football
  • target shooting
  • disc toss

Aldi says that all accessories are included:

  • 1 basketball
  • 1 ball launcher with 10 foam balls
  • 2 foam axes
  • 1 soccer ball
  • 3 baseballs
  • 1 football
  • 1 bow with 3 arrows
  • 1 disc
  • 1 air pump

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t tried out this center, so we don’t know how easily it sets up, how well it does during play, or how long it lasts. We’ve created this open thread for users to share their experiences.

  1. Grandson received this game center as a gift. Ball launcher gun does not work. How do we get a replacement for him. He loves the rest of the game center so faelr and would like to complete the rest of the game.

  2. We had an issue with the foam gun also…..at first.

All you have to do is make sure the balls are all at the opening because air pushes the balls forward.

  3. where are the instruction on how to assembly the unit?

  4. I purchased the Crane Sport 8 in 1 multi game center There were NO instructions included in the box. Can someone post instructions or a link for the instructions/manual.
    Much appreciated.
