Kickboxing is a combat sport that draws its influences from karate, boxing, and a handful of other martial arts. While combat sports themselves are thousands of years old, kickboxing itself is a more recent innovation. It was first developed in the 1950s and 1960s, vaulting to popular culture in the late 1980s courtesy of the Jean-Claude vann Damme movie Kickboxer.
Kickboxing isn’t quite as popular today, having been eclipsed both by the rise of mixed martial arts and the continued draw of traditional boxing. But you can still find kickboxing competitions out there. What’s more, kickboxing has a lot of appeal as a workout, since it works several parts of the body.
You can often find kickboxing trainers in paid gyms. On the other hand, if you’re looking to augment your home gym setup, you can get your own trainer. You might not expect Aldi to carry such a trainer, but, hey, this is Aldi.
What We Know:
The Crane Kickboxing Trainer (Product Code: 702766) is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a limited time. Each store will just get one shipment, and once that shipment is sold out, you won’t be able to get it in stores again unless Aldi decides to bring it back at some point. Aldi doesn’t ship products online, so if you can’t find it in your store, you’re out of luck.
The trainer costs $19.99 in December of 2023. That’s a whole $10 less than the $29.99 it sold for in December of 2022. This is yet another time we’ve seen Aldi lower prices on Aldi Finds in 2023. That’s on the lower range of prices I see for trainers like this one on Amazon.

What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t tried out this kickboxing trainer, so we don’t know how well it performs or how durable it is. We’ve created this open thread for users to share their experiences.

I’m buying the Crane Kickboxing Trainer right now from Aldi! This thing is nearly 6 feet tall; recommended ages are kids 6+. ($29.99)
My 8 year old has been using it for about 4 days and it’s already leaking air. Of course we can’t find or hear the leak but it’s def losing air. We threw the box away because it was from “Santa”
That’s disappointing, especially when it was a Christmas gift. You might still be able to return it without the box. Aldi is pretty good about recognizing their own products. If you try returning it, let us know how it goes.
