One of the things we have realized during the past couple of years is how important comfort can be. Sometimes, it’s the small things in life that give us a sense of coziness and satisfaction. It could be things such as soft blankets or throws, flannel sheets, fluffy pillows, warm robes, homey furniture, a nice cup of home-brewed coffee or tea, or even an ergonomic and comfortable workspace.

Aldi sells all kinds of products to help you make your home cozy and comfortable. Maybe for you, comfort is having the ability to work from your bed, or perhaps you’re just craving a leisurely breakfast in bed. If that’s the case, for a limited time, Aldi is selling a bed tray that allows you to eat, work, or read all from the comfort and convenience of your bed. You can prop a laptop, tablet, book, notebook, or magazine on this tray. You can even serve a full breakfast off of this tray.

This bed tray is sold under the Aldi Crofton brand, which is not a separate company but instead is the Aldi private label for various kitchen or cooking-related products, including cheese graters, microwave popcorn makers, coffee makers, fry pans, casserole dishes, and more.

What We Know:

Crofton Acacia Bed Tray

The Crofton Acacia Bed Tray (Product Code: 701538) cost $17.99 at the time of publication. That’s on the lower end of prices for bed trays on Amazon, where I found most bed trays starting around $20 and topping out around $40 to $50.

This tray is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment of trays, and after that sells out, they’re gone unless Aldi brings them back at some point, whenever that might be. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are not in stock at your local store.

Here’s more information on the bed tray, according to Aldi:

  • Made of 100% acacia wood
  • Includes tablet and cup holder
  • Features foldable legs and easy to carry handles on both sides

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t yet purchased one of these bed trays, so we don’t know how well they work or how sturdy they are. Aldi also has not yet published information on this tray’s dimensions or whether it has a warranty. We write open threads so readers can talk about their experiences with a variety of Aldi products.
