This week Aldi published its holiday gift guide, a 26-page color catalog highlighting toys, technology, and Christmas gifts for all ages and interests along with holiday decorations and gift wrap. You can view the guide here. Other recent Aldi guides have enthralled us — consider the fall guide and the Thanksgiving guide — and this visual spread is just as fun to page through.
The first of Aldi’s holiday gifts arrived in stores this week, and the rest will roll out weekly through the rest of November and through much of December. You’ll want to check the weekly ad to see when Christmas items will arrive at your local store. These are all Aldi Finds (Special Buys), which means they’re only in stores for a short time. Also, Aldi doesn’t offer online ordering in the U.S., so once these sell out at stores, they’re gone.
The gift guide catalog cover features a range of goodies that includes pajamas, an espresso maker, cozy boots, party games, a magnetic dartboard, a children’s scooter, Disney dolls, Transformers figures, and Starbucks cocoa gift mugs.

Toys:
The first few pages of the catalog showcase a large toy selection. One thing that stands out to us is the volume of name-brand toys Aldi is selling this year. While Aldi has sold name-brand toys during past holidays, they also have sold many private label toys (such as 2019’s Bee Happy 18-Inch Dolls). This year they seem to be offering a larger proportion of popular name brands and licensed toys. Among the offerings are Lego City and Lego Friends sets, Marvel action figures, a talking plush baby Yoda, and a Hot Wheels Mario Kart track.
Baby and toddler toys include Baby Alive Ruff Riders or Tiny Corns, Paw Patrol characters and cars, Fisher-Price stocking stuffers, and Little People, Little People Babies, a music mat, board books, and touch and feel books.
Other toys include Disney princess and Frozen dolls, Calico Critters, L.O.L. Surprise! OMG Dolls, Hasbro FurReal Pets, Zuru Robo Alive and Rainbocorns, Magformers, licensed storybook collections, Disney and Marvel storybook and snow globe gift sets, character walkie talkies, wooden puzzles, Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, Monster Jam remote control cars, Pillowchums, Squishmallows, and marble runs.
Games:
The catalog then moves on to games and activities for the whole family, including basketball hoops, an over-the-door axe throw, telescopes, microscopes, full-size table tennis tables, and wooden tabletop games.
Technology:
Tech gifts include iTOUCH Air Smart Watches, a retro arcade game, a gaming headset or mouse or keyboard, karaoke microphones, wireless earbuds with charging case, fabric speakers, wireless chargers, power banks, charging stations, and Wi-Fi range extenders.
Gift Cards and Stocking Stuffers:
Aldi stocking stuffers and gifts for all ages include gift cards for more than 50 popular brands such as Apple, Olive Garden, Starbucks, and more. Aldi also has Life Savers Gummies Game Books and Life Savers Hard Candy Storybooks, plastic candy canes filled with Skittles or Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups or Hershey’s Kisses, Mad Libs books, bath fizzers, essential oil fan diffusers, and blue light or night driving glasses.
Pet Gifts:
Aldi also is selling gifts for your furry friends. Pet gifts include cat scratching playhouses, cat beds, a cat tunnel and house, memory foam orthopedic pet beds, rawhide stockings, and various dog treats.
Clothing:
Clothing gifts include men’s Star Wars pajamas, cable knit infinity scarves, fleece-lined leggings, ladies’ dusters, ladies’ sweatshirt dresses, ladies’ flannel pajamas, memory foam slippers for women, bath robes for men and women, and a women’s hat and glove and scarf set.
Self-Care Gifts:
Aldi is also selling an array of self-care gifts, such as aroma diffusers, essential oil, scented candles, soap and lotion gift sets, hand cream gift sets, a foot spa with heat, weighted blankets, hot/cold slippers, an eye mask and wrap, and heated massagers.
Gift Wrap:
Finally, Aldi sells everything you need to wrap your gifts. Besides gift wrap and gift bags, Aldi is selling wire fabric ribbon, gift boxes, and peel-and-stick gift tags.
