It’s nice to have a place to put things.

That sounds obvious, but as someone who has lived through dorm life — sometimes with roommates who were less than organized — there is something to be said for having a place to put things that you need out of view, so they’re not just … well, tossed around everywhere.

Sure, drawers don’t solve everything. They can get quite messy, in fact. But I think it’s better to have a messy drawer than a messy room. The science seems to back that up: we’re happier when we have places to put things.

Most big box stores sell drawers and other storage utilities. Aldi — which tends to sell a little bit of everything — is also known to rotate storage options into its rotation of limited buys from time to time, too.

What We Know:

The Huntington Home 4-Drawer Storage Tower (Product Code: 705995) is an Aldi Find. That means it’s only in stores for a limited time. Once it’s out of stock at your local store, you won’t be able to find it, since Aldi doesn’t ship its products online.

At the time of this post, the storage tower is $19.99. That’s much cheaper than anything else like it I can find online.

According to Aldi, the tower measures 7.1 inches long, 9.9 inches wide, and 25.2 inches high. In March of 2022, it was available in beige or gray, and it has removable fabric drawers. As best as I can tell, it does not come with a warranty.

What We Don’t Know:

Aldi doesn’t have a lot to say about the storage tower, and we haven’t tried it out ourselves, so we don’t know how easily it assembles, how well it functions, or how long it lasts. We create open threads for products like this for users to share their experiences.

  1. I’ve been purging my stuff and reorganizing the past few months. In my opinion, this does not hold very much for the price. You have to need to store a lot of very small items to make it worthwhile. Those drawers are tiny. Depending on where it would be used, the plastic shoeboxes from Target or bins from Dollar Tree would be better for storage

  2. I just bought bought this today. It’s all assembled and there were only 2 left (both beige). For 20 bucks it’s worth it. The frame is thin, coated metal, fabric drawers with silvertone finger pulls. Like that it’s more deep than wide because it’s fits into tiny spots. The drawers are a decent size, meaning you can actually fit stuff. Like I said, for the money it’s worth it.
