Furnishing a room inside your home can be a daunting process. The same can be said of furnishing an outdoor space such as a patio, deck, porch, or sunroom. You must choose large pieces such as sectionals and chairs for seating, as well as tables, lamps, and other accessories. Finally, the right rug can pull the whole space together and give it a cohesive look.

Aldi sells rugs of various sizes at different times throughout the year, including shag rugs, runner rugs, doormats, and more. Recently, Aldi sold a larger area rug that can be used either indoors or outdoors.

What We Know:

Huntington Home 5' x 8' Indoor/Outdoor Area Rug

The Huntington Home 5′ x 8′ Indoor/Outdoor Area Rug (Product Code: 700379) cost $39.99 at the time of publication. That’s on the lower end of prices for indoor/outdoor area rugs on Amazon.

This is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that aren’t in stock at your local store.

Aldi sold 5′ x 8′ indoor/outdoor area rugs for the same price in the spring of 2020.

Here’s more information about the rug, according to Aldi:

  • Durable woven construction
  • For indoor or outdoor use
  • Assorted Styles available
  • Fade and weather resistant
  • Easy to clean
  • Made of 100% polypropylene
  • OEKO-TEX certified

We haven’t seen any indication that this rug comes with any kind of warranty.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t yet tried this area rug, so we don’t know how durable it is or how good it looks up close. We write open threads so readers can share about their experiences with products.
