My family is always up for holiday or themed pizzas. We like the football-shaped pizza Aldi sold back in January for the “Big Game,” and we like the heart-shaped pizza Aldi has sold for Valentine’s Day as well as the star and tree pizzas Aldi sold for the winter holidays. So when I spotted a cute Halloween ghost pizza at Aldi this week, I just had to pick one up for pizza night.
Mama Cozzi’s Halloween Ghost Shaped Pizza cost $4.99 for a 13.96-ounce pizza at the time of publication. The package describes this as “a crispy crust topped with mozzarella cheese, olive eyes and marinara sauce mouth.” It’s a product of Italy. This pizza was sold alongside a pumpkin-shaped pizza, and you can pick up one of those as well to complete your pizza night.
This ghost pizza is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. (And no, Aldi won’t ship it to you after it sells out at your local store.)
Ingredients include wheat flour, mozzarella cheese, water, cream, extra virgin olive oil, tomato pulp, tomato puree, hard cheese, salt, olives, modified corn starch, yeast, shallot, sunflower oil, garlic, sugar, basil, parsley, white pepper, oregano, and soy.
If you’re watching out for allergens, this contains wheat, milk, egg, and soy.
One pizza serves about three people, and one serving (132 grams) has 340 calories, 13 grams of total fat (17% DV), 6 grams of saturated fat (30% DV), 30 mg of cholesterol (10% DV), 750 mg of sodium (33% DV), 43 grams of total carbohydrates (16% DV), 2 grams of dietary fiber (7% DV), 2 grams of total sugars, no added sugars, and 13 grams of protein.

This has instructions for heating in a conventional oven. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove pizza from freezer once the oven has reached 400 degrees. Remove the packaging from the pizza and place the pizza directly on the middle rack in the oven, or pizza can be placed on a pan. (I use a metal pizza pan with holes.) Allow pizza to cook for 17-20 minutes or until cheese is bubbling and the pizza temperature is 165 degrees. Let the pizza stand for a few minutes, then slice and serve.

This pizza baked up easily in my oven in about 17-18 minutes. It looked cute on the pizza pan, and it tasted excellent. The crust is topped with a creamy sauce and then lots of gooey mozzarella cheese. After I cut the pizza into individual-sized square-ish pieces, the olive-loving members of my household quickly grabbed he pieces that had olive “eyeballs.”
I served the ghost pizza alongside the pumpkin shaped pizza that Aldi was selling at the same time, and together the two pizzas were enough to feed four people when served with a side salad. Both pizzas are good, but the ghost pizza was the easy favorite among my family. The pumpkin shaped pizza has stronger flavors with marinara sauce and cheddar cheese instead of mozzarella, and it’s good on its own merits, but the ghost pizza with its combination of mild cream sauce and stringy mozzarella really hit the spot.
The Verdict:
Mama Cozzi’s Halloween Ghost Shaped Pizza features a crispy ghost-shaped crust topped with a creamy sauce and mozzarella cheese, with olive “eyeballs” and a marinara sauce “mouth.” This is an excellent pizza that didn’t last long on the table. Highly recommended.
