Aldi has a pretty steady lineup of rotating small appliances, many of them under the Ambiano label. Whether it’s a waffle maker, a wok, or a deep fryer, Aldi’s selection is pretty diverse. Aldi also occasionally sells toasters, both traditional ones and toaster ovens.

While Aldi has previously sold both 2-slice and 4-slice toasters, the traditional toasters we’ve seen in recent years from Aldi have been the 2-slice variety. In fact, we’re not sure we can recall seeing a 4-slice toaster in Aldi since perhaps 2015, when Aldi sold one under the now-defunct Kitchen Living label. That is, until, Aldi started selling one in the summer of 2019.

What We Know:

Ambiano 4-slice toaster

The Ambiano 4 Slice Toaster (model CT-913, product code 59011) is an Aldi Find (Special Buy), which means it’s only in stores for a short time. In 2021, the toaster retailed for $24.99. That’s more than the $19.99 it cost in 2019, but is still a lot less than 4-slice toasters we see in other places.

In recent years, the toaster has been made by Wachsmuth & Krogmann, a company Aldi has turned to multiple times in recent years for a variety of products.

According to the Aldi warranty page, the 2021 model has a 3-year warranty and is serviced through the e-mail info@myproduct.care. The 2019, 2020, and 2021 models all have the same model number, so the manual for the 2019 model, available through Wachsmuth and Krogmann’s site, should also apply to 2020 and 2021 versions.

According to Aldi, the toaster’s features include:

  • Wide slots for thick breads, bagels, waffles, and more
  • Two removable crumb trays that slide out for easy cleaning
  • Multifunction controls, including cancel, defrost, reheat, and bagel options, all with indicator lights
  • Self-adjusting slots that keep food away from the heating wires
  • A browning control

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t tested any of Aldi’s toasters, instead focusing our attention on the Aldi toaster oven. That means we don’t know much about the toaster’s performance or longevity, although the 3-year warranty is a nice thing to have.

  1. thanks Josh they are on ale next week at Aldis for $24.99

  2. I just hope it’s not like my Cuisinart 4 slice toaster. (Similar to one above) This Cuiainart has loud beeps for everything. Very loud and very noisy.

  3. Got it last summer, it’s already dead. As it’s been over a year, I’m just simply out the $25. Oh well …

  4. Just picked up one at Goodwill for 5 bucks. Looks like new and works well.

  5. How can I order and buy the 4 slice Ambianol toaster (model CT-913, product code 59011)
