It’s no secret Aldi appeals to wine aficionados. The discount grocery store offers a range of surprisingly good wines, and an annual highlight is the November release of their wine Advent calendar, which usually disappears quickly from store shelves. You can even purchase wine and beer from Aldi via Instacart and have it delivered to your door.

Sometimes it’s not enough just to have a bottle of wine, though. A few accessories like a cork screw, preserver, stoppers, aerator, and foil cutters can be useful. Aldi has what you need in this department as well.

What We Know:

The 2022 version.

The Ambiano Electric Wine Set (Product Code: 705792 in 2022; Product Code: 827743 in 2023) is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only sold in stores for a limited time. One it’s sold out of stores, you won’t be able to find it again until it returns, probably a year later. Aldi does not sell it online.

The wine set cost $14.99 in December of 2023. It sold for $24.99 in 2019, dropping to $19.99 in 2020 and 2022. This is another time we’ve seen Aldi lower prices on Aldi Finds in 2023.

This seems to be on the low end compared to the prices of other sets like this one, especially with the price drop. It was first sold in 2019, although Aldi has sold a variety of other wine-related products such as glasses, tumblers, coolers, ice buckets, bar tool sets, and cocktail shakers. This Electric Wine Set usually appears in stores at the same time as related items such as decanters and champagne glasses.

Previous models of this set came with a lithium battery, rechargeable electric cork screw, and charging base.

The 2023 model has the following features:

  • Comes with storage base for easily organizing the set
  • Aerates wine while pouring
  • Effortlessly removes cork from the bottle with a single button
  • Removes air from uncorked bottle to preserve the wine’s flavor
  • Batteries included
  • Available in black with silver or gold accents

What We Don’t Know:

We don’t know who makes the Electric Wine Set or if it comes with a warranty. We also have not used it ourselves, so we don’t know how well it works. We write open threads so readers can discuss Aldi products.

  1. I purchased an electric wine bottle opener from Aldi 4 or 5 years ago. Usually I love Aldi products, but the opener only
Asked a few months before it died. I won’t purchase another.

  2. I got this for my girlfriend for Christmas, she hasn’t used it yet,but it looks great, seems to be very well made, with nice little accessorys,

  3. I receive the Ambiano Electric Wine Set for Christmas. I have had electric opener prviously. This looks pretty and all. I need to make sure the spiral is lined up otherwise it will pull crooked. I use the wine preserver pump but no matter how many times I pump it I don’t hear the click. When I remove the pump I have to hold the wine stopper so it doesn’t pull out. What am I doing wrong? Remember I’m not new to this. I

    • All you do is stick the wine bottle in there until that plastic piece goes up,then push the button,I think you might be overly complicating the process, ours works great.

    • I have the same problem and don’t hear the click when pumping. I have the manual pump as well

  4. The light does not go off and the unit is hot to touch

  5. I would stay clear of this item. I purchased and had a the wine aerator good bad and they will not replace without a receipt. I am kind of soured on their products as they don’t seem to stand behind them when a simple piece fails. I explained I am not trying to scam them but that did not seem to matter. There are other manufacturers maybe checking one of them out might be an option.

  6. I have a problem with it because it has a broken piece that will not be replaced. I will purchase a new one and not by more products from this company!

    • Umm,it has a warranty….and since it was a Christmas item you should have kept the receipt, but they still should replace it,or give you a full refund if you bring it and show that it’s defective,of course if you dropped it or something I doubt that counts

  7. My wife actually purchased and gave it to me and did not keep the receipt. I have asked if they would replace the aerator since it just leaks at the seam between the silicone and metal. They refuse to replace without the receipt so I am stuck.

  8. That can be easely fix with a little silicone,I’ll keep an eye out on that, but if mine starts leaking I’ll just do that..

  9. Love it

  10. I bought the wine opener for Xmas. It worked great for apx 10 bottles of wine then the plastic part that allows you to engage the cork became disengaged. Without the plastic cork holder it stopped functioning, There is no way to open the holder to rescrew the plastic tunnel back in to it’s base. So after 10 bottles of wine it is useless.

  11. Feb 23, 2022; ad says electric, but the box said it takes AA batteries. But the website clearly says rechargeable. Bottom line, didn’t
    get it.

  12. Received this as a gift. It removed half of the cork then stopped working. The button was hard to push. I changed batteries, but no luck. This product shouldn’t be sold at Aldi .

  13. The cork is too far up and stuck. It wont back out. We cant figure out how to removed it.
