EDITOR’S NOTE: We purchased this when it arrived in our local stores, and we put it through a thorough review. You can read our full thoughts about the galaxy projector here.
Aldi is a very practical store. Need bread, milk, and eggs? Check. Need cookware at budget prices? Check. Need storage containers and organizers for your linen closet or bathroom cabinet? Check.
And then there are the times when Aldi surprises me with whimsical products: everything from bed canopies to fairy light strings to popular 80s-music-themed cheese.
This week, I spotted an LED galaxy projector in the Aldi ad. It’s sold under the Bauhn brand, and it’s a ball, with a remote, and it casts sky images. It even has a northern lights feature.
What We Know:
The Bauhn LED Galaxy Projector (Product Code: 712240) is an Aldi Find. It’s in stores for just a short time. Each store gets a single shipment, and it’s gone after that sells out. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are out of stock at your local store.
This is scheduled to arrive in stores July 31st, 2024.
The Bauhn LED Galaxy Projector cost $14.99 at the time of publication. That’s on the cheaper end compared to similar galaxy projectors I found on Amazon.
Here’s more information, according to Aldi:
- Features 12+ sky combos
- Remote control included
- Includes adjustable brightness
- Offers timer mode function
- Sound activated
- Features dual protection lenses
- Offers northern lights effects
- Available in black, pink, and white
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet tried this galaxy projector, but we are strongly considering purchasing it once it arrives in stores. We’ll do a full workup and post a review after that happens. In the meantime, we don’t know the dimensions for this product, who makes it, or if it comes with a warranty. We write open threads to give readers a place to discuss Aldi products.
