In the earliest days of our site, one of the first things we wrote about was the Gardenline Two Person Swing. We bought it in the fall of 2013, three years before Aldi Reviewer launched. That version had plush cushions and an awning. As of 2022 — nine years later — we still own it, although the awning wore out a while back and the cushions (which we keep inside when not in use) are tearing in places. Needless to say, it’s been a good purchase.
At some point, Aldi’s supplier replaced the cushioned model with one that had a sling chair style like the Gardenline (and later Belavi) Double Glider. The sling style can also work — as of 2022, we’ve had our Aldi double glider for 13 years — it lasts much longer if it can be kept under an awning or in a place where it’s not exposed to rain.
While the style has changed over the years, Aldi continues to sell a two-person swing year after year.
What We Know:
The Belavi 2-Person Swing (Product Code: 811083) is an Aldi Find. It’s only in stores for a limited time, and once it’s sold out, you won’t be able to get it again until it comes back into stores, whenever that might be. Aldi doesn’t ship its products online, so if you can’t find it inside a store, you’re out of luck until, most likely, next year.
In 2022, the swing cost $99.99. Like most products, the price of the swing has crept up in recent years, from $69.99 in 2019, to $89.99 in 2020, to $99.99 in 2021 and now 2022. The current version dates back to 2019, and what changes there have been have only been small. This price is on the lower end of two-person swings out there.
According to Aldi, the swing’s features include:
- Measures 57.4″ x 49″ x 66.9″
- Features fade-resistant, breathable all-weather sling fabric, a powder-coated steel frame, and an adjustable canopy top
- Comfortably seats 2 people
- Weight limit is 500 lbs.
- Comes with a one-year warranty
What We Don’t Know:
While we’ve owned both the older version of this swing and a sling chair double glider that has seats like this one, we haven’t owned this exact model. That means we can’t speak to how easily it assembles, how comfortable it is, or how long it will last. We’ve created this open thread, then, for users to share their experiences.

I just purchased the $100 Belavi 2 person swing from Aldi. I must say the swing was a terror to put together. Holes did not line up and had to loosen and use brute force to center. There were not enough large washers, 1/2 of the caps popped off, just not fun to put together. It most certainly is a two person job. It does look nice now that it is finished and feels secure. Material is lightweight so hope it holds up.
4 years ago I purchased the glider for $50. I loved the glider. Easy to assemble all parts were available. Held up really well. The seat did tear, but in all fairness, I left it out year round. I am going to try to come up with an option to replace the seats of the glider as the frame is still sound. Wish Aldi would have the gliders again. Definitely suggest it over the swing hands down.
The swing is a nightmare to assemble, and i honestly dont think its possible to get together. As the last reviewer said, the holes don’t line up, you’ll strip the heads of the bolts if you use brute force, and they did not include enough of the larger size washers. I’ve had to purchase replacement bolts and even with a drill I started to smoke the battery trying to get a bolt to budge. Don’t waste your money! I previously purchased the aldi glider and it was easy to assemble and has lasted 3+ years outside year round with only minimal rust.
