If you need patio furniture, the first place you might look is a big box store such as Home Depot, Menards, Lowe’s, Walmart, or Target. But don’t overlook your favorite discount grocery store either. During the spring months, Aldi sells a range of furniture and accessories for your outdoor or semi-outdoor spaces.
Stock at Aldi is constantly rotating, and supplies of larger items may be limited. After all, Aldi stores have relatively small square footage, and patio furniture is big. However, each year Aldi sells at least a few things such as stacking chairs, side tables, gliders, two-person swings, hanging hammock chairs, and gazebos.
Something Aldi has sold for the past couple of years is a complete furniture set that includes a loveseat, two chairs, and a coffee table. This set is ideal for a porch, sun room, patio, or deck.
What We Know:
The Belavi 4-Piece Conversation Set is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. Aldi does not offer online ordering for its specials, so the only way to get it is if it’s in stock at your local store.
Aldi has been selling a set like this since 2000. In 2020, it was called the Gardenline 4-Piece Conversation Set, but in 2021 Aldi introduced a new house brand, Belavi, that has since been replacing Gardenline in most parts of the outdoor furniture and décor space. Despite the name change, the Gardenline and Belavi conversation sets appear to be identical.
This has gone through some price fluctuations over the years. In 2023, it cost $119.99, which is also the same price as the 2021 set. This set saw a large price jump to $199.99 in 2022, so it’s nice to see the price has gone back down in 2023. This is another example of Aldi quietly dropping prices on certain Aldi Finds. It costs less than what most other sets cost, although it’s not a cushy or plush set like a lot of others on the market.
According to Aldi, the set’s features include:
- Includes 2 chairs, love seat, and coffee table
- Features Padded Textilene backs and seats for added comfort
- Table measures 36.02″ x 17.71″ x 17.71″
- Chairs measure 27.36″ x 25″ x 33.07″
- Chair weight limit: 242 lb.
- Love seat measures 27.36″ x 46.25″ x 33.07″
- Love seat weight capacity: 440 lb.
- Features a powder-coated steel frame
- Comes with a one-year warranty
The warranty for 2021’s set was backed by Fulfillment Services USA, a company we’ve had our share of troubles with. We don’t yet know who backs the 2023 model, but we assume it’s the same.
What We Don’t Know:
We don’t have this set, so we don’t know how sturdy it is or how easily it assembles. We write open threads on Aldi products we haven’t yet tried, and our goal is for this space to be a place for others to share about their experiences with the furniture set.

We were one of the lucky ones and picked this up over the weekend. It is really nice and seems to be very sturdy. The mesh is better than the one last year that had cushions. You dont have to worry about taking them in and out every day. The assembly was a bit tough but were able to figure it out. Everything was machined pretty well with a few minor adjustments. The seats for this set seem studier than the plastic webbing of the last set. Heavy guests were uncomforable with how low they sat. Hopefully this one is better. The only problem was that one of the chair backs broke in transit. I have reached out to their warranty company and am waiting for a response. The message was a bit shady but will try the email. THe warranty company last year was good to work with. LOVE ALDI!
Where did you find instructions?
We purchased this last year. It looks great and is just the right fit on our balcony. It is very sturdy and is easily cleaned. This is a wonderful product and very reasonably priced!
I rushed to pick it up this morning. After an hour of counting all of the hardware and parts, I was very sad to figure out that the first chair I tried to assemble doesn’t seem to be aligned properly. I cannot get the last of the 4 sides tho line up. I am going to attempt the second one. If it doesn’t work I am returning it. I really want to like it. I bought cushions for the set already and everything..
I consider myself lucky I guess because when I went on the side to park I noticed a large box sitting next to the dumpster. I noticed something sticking out the top of the box so I went to see what was this being thrown out and low and behold it was the Belavi 4 piece conversation set in it entirety minus the glass top and instructions. Everything else in the box neatly wrapped & packed tightly lol. Being tossed out due to broken or missing glass I suppose? One mans trash is another mans treasure as they say right? So I’m the proud née owner of this beautiful set although mine has a new plexi-glass top but you can’t even tell the difference 😉. I just though I would share my experience with some fellow Aldi goers
I purchased the 4 piece conversation set from Aldi’s. I am generally pleased. I typically try to avoid furniture you need to assemble but the price was too good. I will say the assembly is a bit of a challenge and would say not an easy one person job. Furniture seems sturdy. One odd question, after assembly and tightening the under seat metal bar (the curved bar under the seat) came loose and fell out on both the chairs. I don’t really see the purpose of the bar and the chair remains sturdy. I plan to call the support line to ask if this was by design or am I missing something. So far I consider this a good purchase

I bought this set and I’m having one heck of a time putting it together. The holes don’t seem to match up Beyer the sear bottom and the arm rest. Am doing something wrong?
It took A LOT of struggle for me to get it all put together. I used a rubber mallet to help get the holes open that weren’t open all the way and I highly recommend an electric screwdriver with a bit. It still took a long time to finally get it. Especially the loveseat. You think that the support piece is too short but you have to alternate and screw both ends in little by little.
HELP! We bought this set and got interrupted putting it together. We think construction people took the extra hardware. Did anyone save the paperwork with the 800 number?

Hard time putting this together. After a few good rains, our is starting to rust & drip rust on our patio
None of the holes line up and nothing aligns properly. Don’t bother buying this trash.
You will notice that the later purchasers experienced problems with the set. As did I. Two of the suction cups needed to hold the glass top were missing. Not all of the parts were numbered, making it a guessing game. Then, putting the loveseat together proved impossible as the parts were way out of alignment. Took it back for a refund. I guess it is a sign of the times. Pass on this item.
Just assembled ours!! Took a hour and half w 2 of us!! Don’t try by urself you how to force the holes to alingn if tighten everything first!! Put together loose then go back and tighten!! Or use good old elbow grease!! Solid set once together!!
I went in thinking I got a deal, but oh boy….not only were parts missing (about 20 nuts), but parts would not line up making it very difficult to assemble. Now that it is together I do like it, but it also took four hours out of my day, not to mention there were two of us! If you want a project, worth it, but I won’t be purchasing again.
So we have all the parts but can not get the loveseat together. The seat is too short for the support bar. Anyone else have this issue and if so how did you fix it??

Just bought this set for $149 and was able to put it together by myself in about 3 hours, though I did have some missing washers. Two of the holes were difficult to line up, but was able to get them aligned with a bit of effort. Seems sufficient for a short sit, but the seats weren’t comfortable enough for sitting in for an extended period. Looks good though. We’ll see how it holds up, but for $149, not much lost.
I put together the table and chairs with no problem. They are serious when they say to wait to tighten everything until you have completed all the steps. Things line up much better when you do that! When I got to the love seat, I was missing one of the connecting pieces. I called the customer support number to ask about it. They said the set is discontinued and they don’t have any replacement parts. They did say they would give me a refund, though, and I could keep the set. We will try to make a replacement for the missing piece.

I purchased this in the fall as an early Xmas gift for someone. Now we finally opened the box and tried to assemble and had plenty of issues. The table requires 8 screws to go into pre-drilled holes in the table legs. 1 of the pre-drilled holes was not correct and the screw will not fit thus the table is wobbly. The loveseat is a disaster. The seat itself does not line up properly and it is not just a little off it is about an 1″. This is pre-fabricated metal that cannot be bent and pushed into place. Very Frustrating experience.
