EDITOR’S NOTE: Updated for 2023.

In recent years, Aldi has increased its stock of big outdoor structures. I’ve seen standard gazebos, instant-up gazebos, and pergolas. For a long time, these were sold under the Gardenline label, but starting in 2021 Aldi began selling them under the Belavi name. As far as I can tell, there isn’t any difference between the two other than the fact that they have a different name. In some cases, the Belavi product looks identical to the Gardenline ones.

For several years, Aldi sold the Gardenline Grill Gazebo, but as of 2021 they have now rebranded it as the Belavi Grill Gazebo.

What We Know:

Belavio Grill Gazebo 1

This grill gazebo (Product Code: 43472) is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. (As I write this, Aldi has been experiencing some product delays, so it may not be available in all locations at the times the ad says it will.)

This cost $119.99 in April of 2023. That’s a lot more than what it cost in June of 2021, when it was $89.99. According to our records, the grill gazebo was $69.99 in 2018 and 2019, and $79.99 in 2020, so the price on this has steadily increased over the years. Even so, it’s still far less than what you’ll pay in most other places, with prices ranging from $180 to upwards of $500. (You’ll see listings for $45-50, but those are for replacement canopies, not the entire structure.)

According to Aldi, the gazebo measures 7.8′ x 4.9′ x 8.2′ and includes the following features:

  • a double vented roof for airflow
  • a basket for beverages and condiments
  • a flame-resistant and water-repellent canopy
  • a sturdy powder-coated steel frame
  • utensil hooks under shelf to hold grill tools
  • loop fasteners on the canopy top for hanging string lights
  • a built-in bottle opener

The gazebo is backed by a one-year warranty, serviced by TDC USA, a global logistics company. TDC even has its own product listing of the gazebo (no, you can’t buy it from them) which indicates two other features not mentioned by Aldi:

  • Two sturdy frosted glass shelves
  • Ground stakes included

The TDC listing also gives dimensions of the condiment basket at 48″ x 7.5″ x 7.375″.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t yet tested this gazebo, so we can’t speak to ease of setup, how sturdy it is, or how long it lasts. Our goal with open thread posts like this is to offer a space for people to share about their experiences with a product.

  1. I purchased this in 2018 when it was $69.99 for over my grill. It was a steal compared to what it costs at other stores! It was great until a storm tossed it and crumpled it like an egg shell. I plan to get another one and secure it on one side this time. If the wind returns that way it can fall over on one side.

    • I wondered. Thanks for the recommendation!

    • Question, since you already own one, I was thinking of hanging curtains and using one of these as a wet/changing room for suit drops after getting out of our pool, do you think the inside dimensions would/could allow? And do you think it’s possible to turn one of the shelves on its side and still attach so its sturdy into the frame but not taking up any inside space to be able to move around in?

      • Yes, You will be able to change out of a bathing suit, but the design will not give you more space re-arranging the shelves,

  2. Just picked up one, was hoping it matched the gray amazing, ‘change your back porch into a functional space!’ gazebo they had 2 weeks ago, boxes picture looks like it does not, and instead it’s brown or tan
    What a shame!
Why make and sell 2 similar gazebos at the same location within weeks of each other, made by the same manufacturer that would make a yard look stunning, not match and compliment each other?
Maybe I’m wrong and I’ll open it up and be happy as a clam, but right now I’m hesitant and thinking it might end up returned.

  3. We just purchased this and LOVE IT!!!! The set up took a bit because the directions are not wonderful but once it was done it was fabulous!!!

  4. Who sells a replacement canopy that will fit this model?

  5. Oof. Spent $150 on this today, then saw comparable on Amazon for $100. Seems like they’ve overextended.

  6. These were on clearance at my local Aldi and marked down to $37.99! I came across this blog looking for reviews so I’m glad it seems to have worked well for others.

    • I bought it yesterday for that price! I am thinking now I maybe should buy a second one simply for the canopy… that is cheaper than the price of just a replacement canopy!

      • I totally went back and bought a second one because it was such a good deal. Good idea about using it just for the replacement canopy!

      • Great idea! Unfortunately, I just bought the last one my Aldi’s had marked down from $119.95 to $29.95. I waited a few weeks to see if it would be marked down, so glad I waited!

  7. I just purchased one, marked down to $60. Very much regret it.
It came with the incorrect pieces. The “Long Arch” labeled “D” and meant to be two pieces, is actually four pieces with no discernable way of connecting them. Fingers crossed that Aldi will accept the return, despite my having tossed the top of the box it came in.
