Open Thread: Belavi Umbrella Stand

In many parts of the country, it’s time to dust off the patio furniture and start spending more time outdoors. You might be taking stock of your grill, planting your garden beds, making sure you have enough outdoor seating, and perhaps even adding some fun extras such as a swing or glider to your patio, deck, or backyard.

Unless you have a very shady yard, one patio accessory that can be extremely useful is a large umbrella. Aldi sometimes sells an umbrella stand to put your umbrella in.

What We Know:

Belavi Umbrella Stand

The Belavi Umbrella Stand (Product Code: 1908) cost $21.99 in the spring of 2022. That’s less than most other umbrella stands on the market.

Aldi sold the umbrella stand for $19.99 in 2021 and in 2019. The $2 price increase in 2022 is fairly minimal considering inflationary pressures, especially compared to other patio accessories we’ve seen Aldi hike prices on.

This umbrella stand is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a limited time. You can’t order it online from Aldi if it’s not in stock at your local store.

Here’s more information about the umbrella stand, according to Aldi:

  • Measures 7.64 inches in diameter
  • Adjustable collar fits umbrella poles up to 2 inches wide
  • Easy to assemble

The umbrella stand comes with a one-year warranty, but we’re not sure who services the warranty for this year’s stand because Aldi hasn’t yet posted that information its website’s warranty page. In the past, warranty service for the umbrella stand was provided by Bond Manufacturing, which also stood behind the Aldi Belavi Portable Gas Fire Pit and the Belavi Outdoor Gas Fire Table.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t tried the Belavi Umbrella Stand, so we don’t know how well it works or how durable it is. We write open threads so readers can share about their experiences with products.
