When the new year rolls around, you can bet on people resolving to get fit, packing gyms and making resolutions to get healthier. Aldi is all over this, laying out exercise equipment in January and February as part of its rotating Aldi Find section. A lot of what Aldi sells is smaller — like kettle bells and resistance bands — because the store has limited space to sell them. On occasion, though, Aldi will sell something large, and this sit-up bench is one such example.
What We Know:
The Crane Sit-Up Bench (Product Code: 803041) is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a limited time. Once it’s gone, it’s gone, and you won’t be able to find it in stores again until next year.
In 2022 the bench costs $49.99. That’s $10 more than the same bench cost in 2020, but it’s still lower than most other sit-up benches I see online.
The 2022 bench comes with a 2-year warranty courtesy of aspiria nonfood, a German-based product supplier.
According to Aldi, the sit-up bench comes with:
- 2 latex exercise bands with handles
- An integrated push-up bar
- Padded handles
- An exercise guide
Expect to spend some time assembling the bench.

Once put together, the bench measures 53.1″ x 22.4″ x 31.5″. The bench angle can be adjusted as well as folded up for storage. It has a maximum user weight of 330.7 pounds, so keep that in mind depending on who is using it.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t tried out this bench, so we can’t speak to how easily it assembles, how sturdy and stable it is, or how long it lasts. We’ve created this open thread for users to share their thoughts.

Don’t buy the Crane Sit-up Board because the lack of suffient padding makes it Extremely Uncomfortable to use! I had add three layers of a yoga mat and recover it with vinal covering which I stapled on. I would not have bought Crane’s Sit-up Board if I knew how uncomfortable it would be! I plan to replace it with a professional sit-up board with thicker foot and knee pads
I bought this for my son. It’s missing the mounting bolts. I contacted the maker who states they cannot provide them & suggested I return the product. If anyone can tell my the size of the small medium & large bolts, I’ll just buy them & put it together instead of returning it.
