Stick vacuums have become more popular over the years because of their compact form factor. They’re good vacuums for when storage space is at a premium, such as in apartments or homes where owners are trying to cut down on bulk.
2-in-1 stick vacuums are a specific kind of vacuum that combines the power and reach of a full-sized vacuum with the portability and handheld versatility of an old-school Dustbuster. You can use it in an upright mode like a normal vacuum, or detach a smaller vacuum and use it to reach small crevices or other narrow spaces.
Aldi has sold a few varieties of stick vacuums over the years, including a conventional stick vacuum and a cyclonic model. Aldi has also sold a 2-in-1 stick vacuum, going back to at least 2016.
What We Know:
The Easy Home 2-in-1 Cordless Stick Vacuum (Product Code: 803791) is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a limited time. Once Aldi is out of stock, it’s gone, and Aldi doesn’t ship it online.
In 2022, the 2-in-1 vacuum cost $79.99. While that’s $10 more than in 2021, the price is competitive among the other 2-in-1 vacuums out there, especially considering this one’s features.
Those features include:
- a washable filter, charging station, brush, and nozzle
- a detachable handheld vacuum
- a lithium-ion with up to 38 minutes of run time
- 90 watts of power and two speeds
- the ability to fold for storage
The vacuum comes with a 3-year warranty, backed by BMC Electronics out of Chicago.
The vacuum operates in two different modes. One is a conventional stick vacuum, while the other is a Dustbuster-style handheld vacuum. In addition, the stick mode can be bent to allow for access into hard-to-reach spaces.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t tested the 2-in-1 vacuum, so we can’t speak to its suction power or ease of use. We’re also not sure about durability. That’s why we’ve created this open thread for users to share their experiences.

How can you review a vacuum without knowing about its suction etc? Don’t you think you should use the vacuum before reviewing?

I picked this up last week and I once again Aldi does not disappoint. It works like a champ! I was worried that it might not have good suction because its really just a dustbuster on a stick. It picked up carpet lint on the first try and then I discovered its got a higher gear! I also love that it lays flat so I can store it under my bed.
I can attest I used this vacuum today – we have a husky – HOLY MOLY. We spent like $120 on Black Friday a year ago for a vacuum that was terrible; used this today & it sucked up the hair right out of the carpeted stairs. I am IN LOVE. I hope it lasts a long time, the 3 year warranty is certainly appreciated.
I bought this from a local Aldi, there was only one in the store.
It has very sleek, minimalist and futuristic design which I love. I bought it primarily because of unusual robotic bent that allows to go under hard to reach spaces.
Suction is pretty good, can’t complain. Though it has problems when you dock it in the charging station, you have to try multiple times.
Overall it was a good buy for $69.99 + tax
I think it looks like a Star Wars Storm Trooper. I’ve had this for several years and it still works awesome. The only complaint is that it requires frequent emptying. I’ve recently moved and you know how much dust you find under and behind heavy furniture after 10-15 years. This guy sucked it all up.
I appreciate this thread. I bought this vacuum yesterday from a local Aldi store because it seemed to have everything I needed. A hand held for car/ small stuff and a convenient to use hard floor vacuum for quick clean ups in the kitchen. Though it doesn’t mention on the packaging, the manual says it’s for dry dirt on hard floors, carpets and upholstery indoors and motor vehicles. All checks in my book. I am currently charging it, shall write another post once I use it. Also, looks so good!

Sorry guys, I am so surprised with the positive reviews of this vacuum. its awesome looking and soooooo lightweight, the bend feature is great but the suction is horrible!!! If they spent half the time on suction as they did on design might be an ok vacuum. Suctions apsolutely sucks.

It works well for a $70 vacuum. If you want endless suction, get a $600 Dyson. I find it works well enough for small jobs. You do need to keep the brush and filters clean for optimal performance.

Love mine, would buy one for my daughter if I could. Looks great, gets pet hair up, sleek, lightweight, not too noisy. Great vac for the price. Cannot find anything to comparable to buy for my daughter.
Is the brush suppose to rotate? Mine does not. Am i doing.something wrong

Works fine on hardfloors but makes a terrible noise on carpet ?? Why
I can not find any way to empty dust container. There are no buttons to push and no way to get he dirt out, The container comes out of hand held part but no way to EMPTY , in my opinion this is a big problem. Please tell me how to empty the fool thing , can’t use when it is full. I have read all the info in manual, the info does not comply with my vacuum. I am getting pretty PO’ed HELP
You have 2 silver buttons on each side of stick. Then you remove the duster buster part and push the center button to remove dirt after the rubber stopper and filter are removed first. Good luck. I love mine, it’s so versatile.
Works ok to start with but will start to weaken after a few uses. Also annoying as any hair etc keeps tangling up in rotating brushes.
Hair is going to wrap around and vacuum beater brush. You have to remove the beater brush and clean it regularly. (There is a little piece on one end that removes and then you can pop out the va brush). Also, wash the filters and let them dry thoroughly before using. With regular cleaning, your vacuum will last and work better. I know people don’t like to clean the cleaner, but that’s part of ownership.
I agree with the comments on suction being terrible – it doesn’t seem to pick anything up on my carpet!
1. Very disappointed with my purchase in Nov 2022. With my first use something went ‘crack’ when I pushed it across the carpet and now the stick wont stay locked in the straight position, so I can only use it out of the stick, which requires a lot of back bending.
2. Refitting the filter back into the dust collector assembly is a nightmare as it usually takes 3 attempts and requires nano-millimetre accuracy for correct alignment. My house sitter gave up using it for this reason.
3. The oval shaped plastic piece that guides and secures the hand vacuum mouth part to the stick vacuum component near the bottom of the device keeps jamming itself into the hand vacuum mouth part and so when the hand vacuum is removed for use it stays attached to the mouth of the hand vacuum, making it even more problematic to refit the hand vacuum back into the body of the stick vacuum. Very frustrating exercise trying to fit the guide back into its correct position.
3. Initially I was very impressed with the unit’s suction power but 7 months later it will barely suck up small pieces of dry cat biscuit, despite keeping the filter washed and air channels hair/fluff free.
