Aldi often ventures into the arena of home climate control with products such as portable and window air conditioning units, humidifiers, and a variety of heaters.
One heater Aldi sells is the Easy Home 360° Surround Heater, which looks a lot like a name-brand Honeywell heater but costs less. Surround heaters are unique in that they put out heat in all directions, as opposed to traditional fan heaters that blow warm air in just one direction.
What We Know:
The Easy Home 360° Surround Heater (Product Code: 825118 in 29023) cost $19.99 in October of 2023. The price for this heater has not fluctuated too dramatically over the years. It sold for $19.99 in 2018 and for $24.99 in 2017 and 2019. Then in February of 2022 it cost $26.99, and in November of 2020 it sold for $24.99.
This heater costs less than most other small heaters on the market.
Aldi has sold other types of heaters in a range of prices through the years as well, including flame effect heaters, parabolic radiant heaters with oscillation, fan heaters, oscillating ceramic tower heaters, and wall outlet ceramic space heaters.

- Two heat settings: 750W/1500W
- Features a ceramic heating element
- Includes a 360° air outlet
- Offers an adjustable thermostat
- Includes a carry handle
- Includes a power indicator light

- Includes a safety tip-over switch
The 2022 heater came with a one-year warranty. We don’t have details from Aldi yet on the 2023 heater, but we assume it will have a similar warranty package.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t tried Aldi’s Easy Home 360° Surround Heater, so we don’t know how well it works. We also don’t know specifics about any warranty the heater may come with. We write open threads so readers can discuss Aldi products.

I purchase one and from what I can tell ,most of the heat comes from the from. A little heat trickles from the sides and back. So the 360 claim is deceptive but as long as you are facing the front it seems to heat well

I purchased this heater this past November 2020 and have used it just about every evening since. It did a great job heating up in the area near where I sit to read and watch tv. Last night my dog tripped on the electrical cord, disconnecting it from a multi electric socket. When I went to go plug it back in I noticed immediately that the electric plug was VERY hot. I plugged it in an extension cord after a little while. When I checked on the outlet it was again VERY hot. I’m afraid to use it now. I wonder if it could start an electrical fire.
Yes if it is hot it can start a fire.

I purchased this heater in oct 2019. It started overheating and smoking in 2020. I called then but couldn’t get ahold of anyone, I finally called again in 2021 and was told it only has a 1 year warranty, while the website says 2 years. I do not recommend this heater.
I recently purchased the Aldi EasyHome 360 portable heater less than a week ago. I only started to use it 4 days ago when the 1st night it did great, even had to wake up few times to turn off in my room. The next day I had it on and few mins later the power in my room went out, tripped the breaker for the room it was in. I let it cool because i noticed when I unplugged the metal prongs (plug) were extremely hot. I had it plugged into a wall extension where you can plug 5 other things. So I plugged it directly into the wall and ran great last night. But just now I had it on just plugged it into another part of the room directly into the outlet and it was on good 30 mins when it shut off on me for no reason. The power still on in my room. Not sure what it going on but now I am scared to use it. Could it be the heater or the breaker switch to my room?
i purchased last winter…worked well…..but when i unplugged it…as i do every night..the plug was burned and melted….very scarey….i would like a refund on it

i have a feeling that warranty is not active anymore……however….this is a safely issue that they need to know about

I also purchased this heater. It is terrible. On the highest settings, I get heat to about 9 in from the heater. I have had it sitting right next to me for over 2 hrs and I am still cold, including my hands. It doesnt get hot enough to start anything on fire. I wish the warranty was still valid. I am so disappointed.
