Vacuums are close to a necessity in most homes and apartments. They’re especially important if you have carpet, but even if you have something like hardwood or vinyl flooring, they can be very helpful in cleaning up whatever ends up on the floor.
Handheld vacuums can do some of that work, but there’s no substitute for a full-sized vacuum. Full-sized vacuums, though, have drawbacks. They can can be bulky and hard to store, which can be a problem for a crowded home or small apartment. They also can be heavy, a problem if you need to haul a vacuum upstairs or down to a basement.
Aldi, known for selling just about everything, has sold handheld vacuums, simple stick vacuums, and regular vacuums. Aldi has also sold cyclonic stick vacuums roughly once a year going back to at least 2017.
Cyclonic stick vacuums are a intended to be the best of both worlds. They’re lightweight and more compact while also being powerful, and some of them even offer the versatility of being cordless. Cyclonic vacuums trace their origins to James Dyson in the 1970s, who eventually founded the company that bears his name. Stick versions of the cyclonic vacuums came later and are one of the many options out there.
What We Know:
The 2022 model.
The Easy Home Cordless Cyclonic Stick Vacuum (Product Code 802588) is an Aldi Find, meaning it’s only in stores for a short time. In 2022, the vacuum retailed for $89.99, which was $10 more than it cost in 2021. (Cyclonic vacuums range widely in price, but most of them online, especially cordless ones, are over $150.)
According to Aldi, the vacuum comes with the following:
- The vacuum
- A rechargeable lithium battery
- Rotating brush
- Large and small brush nozzles
- Crevice nozzle
- Wall mount bracket
- The ability to use upright or as a handheld vacuum
- Washable HEPA filter
- Manual
In the past, Aldi cyclonic vacuums have come with a three-year warranty. Recent ones have been serviced by Protel, a common Aldi after-sales support company.
The 2021 model.
According to Aldi, this can be used as either an upright or handheld vacuum, and it is suitable for “any type of surface.”
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t tested this particular vacuum, so we don’t know how it performs, especially compared to other cyclonic stick vacuums out there. We also don’t know how durable it is. As of 2022, we have a number of comments about past versions of the stick vacuum, with mixed reviews.

Just too bad if you buy a battery operated equipment and find out you have to buy the battery as an addition. The problem with that is they usually haven’t any at all. The staff are telling me that this happens all the time. Even worse, they can’t tell me when new supplies are coming, but they suggest that I can return the item and get my money back. What sort of business is this, it probably makes too much sense to have batteries coming and tools skins at the same time.
I purchased the Easy Home Cordless cyclonic stick vacuum. It does mimic Dyson in appearance not performance. I’m returning it to the store because the roller is not suitable for carpet; only vinyl and hardwood ( smooth surface) floors. If it had an additional bristle roller I would keep it.
I bought the home easy cyclonic vacuum it’s good,I charged it the first time and the lights all started flashing and then once it was charged all three blue lights went on but now there’s only one blue light on and I put it on the charger but it’s lights don’t flash anyone. Does any one have a problem like this

had this issue! Its because the filter is dirty! take it out, tap it really good ( i took an old tooth brush to get between the grooves to get dust out). It fired right back up. Another culprit tends to be hair tightly wrapped around the brush roll! However- I almost always find the solution in cleaning the filter!

Plus: Found that this vacuum works great on vinyl-laminate floors. I like the brush roller, it’s soft. It’s quick, light-weight, and powerful. Because it’s light with no cord, I can get my floors done in half the time. Installing the mount bracket on the wall was easy.
Negatives: The sound is extremely high pitched and ear piercing, bad enough that I started wearing ear plugs when I use it.
Using it on carpet, the battery dies quickly. I kept my big vacuum for the carpets.
Can not get the heppa filter off can not twist the housing off any help
Press the red lever on to to separate the canister from the motor unit. Then the housing twists right off to get to the heppa filter. Hope this helps.

There is a button or lever that allows you to separate the dirt canister from the motor portion.
Bought this on Jan. 25. Works great on non-carpet surfaces. Brush hangs up on carpets. Went to use it on Feb. 22 and the roller brush is not spinning. Battery is charged. Everything connected properly. Light comes on but roller does not spin. I have sent an email to their service company. We shall see…
So I got a reply. They have no more stock available so they offered to refund the purchase price. Of course they need a copy of my receipt which I do not have. However, we were somehow able to get the roller to start spinning again.

Happened to us too. Then the brush started spinning. Clean it. Take it off. Replace it. Try again. I agree that on no-carpeted surface it works ok.
Having the same problem. I think it needs a new belt, but where do I find one? When I called they told me they don’t have parts.
Are they coming back in stock?….I HOPE!
However- This is my FAVORITE vacuum. I am lost without it right now. My 6 year old tried to remove the long wand from the handheld part and tore the very thin black wire to power the brush roll. The brushroll will work when attached directly to the handheld device but it is the long wand wire that is cut. I tried to splice it but it didn’t work.

they came out with another stick vacuum. I was super hopeful. Definitely semi-worthless in comparison to this one. It works just as well, if not better than my sisters $300 Craftsman and the battery lasts longer!
I really like my cordless vac but I have misplaced the charging cord. Any way I can buy a new one?
Have had this vacuum for going on three years and its wonderful. We have a full time dog and cat duo with an occasional other 2 doggos that are at the house and I vacuum about every two or three days. I use this vacuum for that. I use my large upright vacuum on sundays when I deep clean the house.This is handy for stairs, and times when the big vacuum is too big for small/light duty jobs. Leaves about a quarter inch missed by roller on each side of the rotating brush but has good enough suction as long as you keep the filter clean. I have low pile rugs around the house that this works good enough on, have to remember to move it slower across the carpet than my upright bc of the softer bristle brushhead which is great for bare floors. I understand the issues people have with any kind of shag. Keeping the brush free of any hair is key, it pops out easily thanks to the design. Would recommend to friends for light duty works/daily vacuuming and keep your upright for the deep cleaning. Would have been 5 stars with an additional different style brush roller.
Would anyone know Which cord, size, volts etc would be Compatible to use for this particular Aldi’s vacuum? I seem to have miss placed it among the many cords or possibly donated it! Thank you

I also want new filters. I have not been able to find any that are compatible. I contacted Portel but they said they only deal with after sales service. I think replacement parts are an aspect of after sales service so I plan to call them. It is a German company so their website is in German but they did respond to my email.

No, I never did. Couldn’t get through on the phone and didn’t follow up via email. I’ve just been carefully washing the filter after every 4-5 uses
I have used the electrolux battery operated stick vac and was totally crushed when I found out they continued making it. Mine just died recently. Made my weekly trip to aldi’s and lo and behold there was a battery operated stick vac. It took me just a matter of nanoseconds to think about it before putting it in my cart. Best purchase I made. I’ve had great success with other aldi non-food items in the past. Several things come to mind, a few was a garden cart, another was an enamel clad brazier. Both of which I use often and don’t know what I’d do without. I’d buy another easy home stick vac again. I hope I find one on the market again.
Might as well have sold my mom a cinder block with the word “vacuum” on it.

Purchased Jan 2021, worked ok not great but good enough for hard floor, May 2022 will not charge at all. The charger is working ok but nothing happening with vac. Only 1 year warranty. NOT happy, I have a copy of receipt but now 4 months past warranty expiry
Purchase about 2 monhs ago. Used twice and now the battery wint charge. Tried different outlets. The filter is clean. This happened to Aldis Ferrex eaf blower too and they had to send me a new one.
I bought mine when it came out earlier this year and it worked great! But now it won’t stay on for longer than a couple seconds. I’ve cleaned it completely and that hasn’t helped. I keep it on the hanging wall charger so it shouldn’t be dead and also tried other outlets but nothings helped.
I would like to buy new filters for the 805422 model. I called the number on the brochure but she said they only deal with warranty issues. She was not helpful in giving me a number. She said to try a goggle search! Really????
