EDITOR’S NOTE: Updated for 2023.

Essential oils have become a thing over the last several years. Users claim that the oils help them with anxiety and negative emotions, even touting their benefits when sick. It’s enough to say that essential oils are a big business now, including through multi-level marketing (MLM) companies.

Aldi has been selling essential oils and accessories for years. For a long time, the grocer sold them under its Welby label, reserved for medical products and accessories. However, Aldi now appears to be selling them under its Huntington Home label.

What We Know:

Both Huntington Home Essential Oils and the Huntington Home Ultrasonic Diffuser are Aldi Finds, which means they’re only in stores for a short time. Aldi receives a single shipment, and once they’re gone, they’re gone, and you can’t order them online.

Huntington Home Essential Oil

One of the 2023 oil options.

Huntington Home Essential Oils (Product Code: 705062) are $2.99 for a 15-mL bottle. While you might do better buying them in bulk online, this isn’t a bad price for a single bottle, especially compared to MLM prices. It’s also a less than the Welby versions from 2019.

Here’s more information about the essential oils Aldi sold in December of 2023.

  • Available In Eucalyptus, Lavender, Cinnamon, Clove, and Peppermint
  • Made from 100% all-natural plant sources such as flowers, leaves, or roots
  • Oils to be used in diffusers
Huntington Home Cool Mist Ultrasonic Aroma Diffuser

A 2023 diffuser.

The Huntington Home Cool Mist Ultrasonic Aroma Diffuser (Product Code: 710246) is $14.99 in December of 2023. That price has appeared to hold steady over the years. That’s the same price as the Welby diffuser from 2019 and is less than most ultrasonic diffusers I’ve seen online.

Here’s more information, according to Aldi:

  • Available in Gold Swirl, Soft Grey, and Iridescent
  • 100 ML Capacity
  • Use with essential oils (not included)
  • Features two mist modes
  • Includes auto shut off
  • Offers 8 LED colors

What We Don’t Know:

The biggest question is who makes these. We don’t know who manufactures the oils, and we don’t know who makes the diffuser. These are potential question marks, especially for essential oil users who are particularly concerned with sourcing. Aldi tends to be secretive about suppliers, so while you can always reach out to Aldi and ask, we can’t guarantee you’ll get much of an answer.
