Aldi has stepped up when it comes to toys this year. We’ve seen the discount grocery store sell some unique toys that have gotten a lot of attention. The most popular toy we’ve spotted was a kid-sized Aldi market complete with cash register with a working calculator, plus food shelves and the Aldi logo prominently displayed in several places. Aldi also sold a play shopping set with Aldi-branded food items along with a wallet and Aldi shopping basket playset that included play money. Another novel toy Aldi has sold this year was a pop-up Alex’s Lemonade Stand playset.
Now, Aldi is selling another large food-related playset: an Aldi-exclusive play kitchen under the popular toy brand Step2. Aldi has been known to occasionally sell Step2 products, including bath toys, kid-sized tables and chairs, splash pads, water tables, sand tables, and more. While you can find Step2-branded toys at many other retailers, including big box stores, sometimes the Step2 products Aldi sells are one of a kind, as is the case with this play kitchen.
What We Know:
The Step2 Cooking Creations Kitchen (Product Code: 707192) cost $89.99 at the time of publication. While this name-brand kitchen is advertised as exclusive to Aldi, it looks identical — other than some color differences — to another Step2 kitchen we found on Amazon for $120 at the time of publication. The main difference we noticed is that the Aldi kitchen has a darker blue color scheme. So if you’re looking for this specific style of play kitchen, the version Aldi is selling is the better deal. The kitchen on Amazon measures 11.5 x 33.5 x 40 inches and includes some dishes and cookware, and we assume that is also the case with the kitchen at Aldi.
This kitchen is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, these are gone unless Aldi decides to bring them back, whenever that might be. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are not in stock at your local store.

What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t tried this play kitchen, so we don’t know how easily it assembles or how well it holds up to children playing with it. We write open threads so readers can share about their experiences with Aldi products.
