EDITOR’S NOTE: Updated for 2023.

If you want equipment to create a home gym, Aldi is an unexpectedly good place to get deals on fitness gear. Aldi tends to go all out selling exercise equipment during the first few months of the year when resolutions to get in shape are still in high gear. Over the years, we’ve seen the discount grocer sell big-ticket items such as indoor cycles, an elliptical, a treadmill, and more.

Recently, Aldi sold some exercise equipment related to weight training, including an adjustable dumbbell and an adjustable workout bench. Today, we’re looking at the adjustable workout bench.

What We Know:

Weider Adjustable Workout Bench

The Weider Adjustable Workout Bench (Product Code: 703475) cost $79.99 in January of 2023, which is $5 less than what it sold for in March of 2022, when it retailed for $84.99. That’s cheaper than most other workout benches we spotted on the market. The Weider brand is not exclusive to Aldi, and Weider products are also sold via Walmart, Amazon, and other retailers.

The bench Aldi is selling is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone. You can’t order it online from Aldi if it’s not in stock at your local store.

Here’s more information about the adjustable workout bench, according to Aldi:

  • Features six different training positions
  • Includes an exercise guide
  • Easy to wipe clean after each workout
  • Rubber feet keep the bench sturdy in place
  • Made with tear-resistant material
  • Measures 42″ H x 18.5″ W x 43.5″ D (assembled)
  • Total weight capacity: 510 lbs. (300-lb. maximum user weight)

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t yet tried this workout bench, so we don’t know how well it works or how durable or sturdy it is. We’re also not sure if this comes with any kind of warranty. We write open threads so that our readers can talk about their experiences with a product.

  1. I just purchased it today. They had it on discount for $42.
Will update once I assemble it and try it out.

    Update:
Took awhile to assemble but maybe because I’m not that handy. Tool like 20-30 minutes. Just need basic tools. So far I’m liking it. Its very stable and doesn’t wobble. (I previously bought a $130 bench from flybird that I returned since it was very unstable.
This comes with a 1 year manufacture warranty for damage or defects
