This morning Aldi US announced that it was issuing a voluntary recall of its Fusia Asian Inspirations’ Spicy Mongolian Heat & Serve Asian Noodle Bowl — a Special Buy (ALDI Find) — over an undeclared nut allergen. According to Aldi, the product potentially contains peanuts, which are not listed on the packaging. Aldi has pulled the 8.5-ounce container from shelves.
The UPC code for the product is 041498135461 and it was available at all Aldi locations. If desired, the package can be returned for a full refund.

ALDI Voluntarily Recalls Fusia Asian Inspirations’ Spicy Mongolian Heat &Serve Asian Noodle Bowl Due to Undeclared Nut Allergen
Batavia, Ill. (August 3, 2018) – In cooperation with Marketing Concepts Group, LLC, ALDI has voluntarily
recalled Fusia Asian Inspirations’ Spicy Mongolian Heat & Serve Asian Noodle Bowl as a precautionary
measure due to the potential presence of peanuts not listed on packaging. This product may cause an
allergic reaction in customers who have a nut allergy.
ALDI has removed the affected product from its stores. The affected product is an 8.5 oz single serve
container, with the following UPC code: 041498135461.
This product was an ALDI Find available for purchase at all ALDI locations.
To date, no illnesses related to this product have been reported. No other ALDI products are affected by
this recall.
ALDI takes the safety and integrity of the products it sells seriously. If customers have product affected by
this voluntary recall, they should discard it immediately or return it to their local store for a full refund.
