This Week at Aldi: The Ad for August 28, 2019

Each week we highlight a few of the more interesting items in the upcoming Aldi ad. Note that, in our area, the ad takes effect on Wednesday, but in some areas it may take effect as early as today, Sunday.

This week’s theme is kitchen gadgets and organizers, home decor and furniture and organization, laundry room products, tailgating / sports spectator accessories, and bacon-themed foods.

The Most Interesting Thing We Saw:

• Ambiano 9-in-1 Multi-Use Programmable Pressure Cooker, $39.99. This has a 6-quart capacity. Aldi sold another 9-in-1 pressure cooker last year in 2018, but it was an 8-quart capacity cooker, so this year’s 9-in-1 model is slightly smaller. We have a few thoughts on this year’s model here.

• Wicked Grove Hard Cider Variety Pack, see price in store. Contains 12 12-oz. bottles for a total of 144 fluid oz., from the U.S. Flavors include Juicy Pear, Cinnamon, and Crisp Apple. Aldi states: “A little sweet, a little tart and wicked good! Pairs well with poultry, soft cheeses and salads.”
