This Week at Aldi: The Ad for December 11, 2019

Each week we highlight a few of the more interesting items in the upcoming Aldi ad. Note that, in our area, the ad takes effect on Wednesday, but in some areas it may take effect as early as today, Sunday.

This week’s theme is tech, toys, miscellaneous holiday gifts, items for your pet, personal care products, clothing and footwear, and holiday food gift sets.

The Most Interesting Thing We Saw:

• Ambiano Sous Vide Precision Immersion Cooker, $49.99. We have no experience with a device like this, but it caught our eye. Use this to slow cook vacuum-sealed food with water at a specific temperature, and use it with freezer bags or vacuum-sealed food bags. It claims to provide precise temperature control and accuracy while cooking, and it has a touch-screen control panel to set cooking time and temperature. Aldi sold a similar precision immersion cooker for the same price last year as well.
