This Week at Aldi: The Ad for December 18, 2019

Last Updated on March 29, 2022

Each week we highlight a few of the more interesting items in the upcoming Aldi ad. Note that, in our area, the ad takes effect on Wednesday, but in some areas it may take effect as early as today, Sunday.

This week’s theme is holiday serving ware and accessories, assorted gifts, bedding, and food perfect for your Christmas or New Year’s party.

The Most Interesting Thing We Saw:

Easy Home Portable Cool Mist Humidifier

  • Easy Home Portable Cool Mist Humidifier, $12.99. Aldi sells a variety of humidifiers each year, but this one always catches our eye because instead of having its own water reservoir, it uses a plastic water bottle. Because of that feature, it is smaller and travels more easily than a traditional humidifier. We’re not fans of plastic water bottles because of the waste they produce, but at least this might be a way to reuse some of those bottles.

  1. Aldi has been dropping the ball lately, first with the no carb bread fiasco, now they’ve cut back on a lot of Christmas Holiday items they used to carry. I could always count on getting egg nog and peppermint ice cream at ALDI,not this season,no where to be found, that along with dozens of other seasonal items are missing.

    • We’ve seen egg nog at our local Aldi stores, and we purchased peppermint ice cream there a few weeks ago.

      • They had Peppermint and Eggnog ice cream at all of our Aldi’s. They also had some King Crab legs I didn’t pick up because they had no price on them. I could kick myself for letting that go.

  2. I absolutely love love love the planner I just bought. But I must say that is slightly annoying that they only include spaces for 4 weeks planning for 8 out of 12months.. 4×7=28(not enough days in each month) I’ll have to make copies and add to the planner, but other than that, great quality for an affordable price.

  3. Bought Snyder’s of Hanover smoked Gouda bites at our Aldi today. They are much more salty and less (Gouda) cheesy than the former (?) Specially Selected brand. Anyone know what gives?
