Each week we highlight a few of the more interesting items in the upcoming Aldi ad. Note that, in our area, the ad takes effect on Wednesday, but in some areas it may take effect as early as today, Sunday.
This week’s offerings include kids’ toys and games, kitchen gadgets and cookware, bathroom organizing products and personal care items, keto/paleo-friendly foods, and a few random items for around the house.
The Most Interesting Thing We Saw:
- Ambiano Mini Deep Fryer, $19.99. This features variable-temperature control. Aldi’s mini deep fryer was recalled in 2018 because the heating element could overheat, posing fire and burn risks. Aldi appears to have fixed the problem because the mini deep fryer is back in stores. My family has owned Aldi’s regular-sized Ambiano Stainless Steel Deep Fryer for about a year, and it works well for us.

Purchased the dual bin Aldi trash can in late February 2019. One of the internal bins split down the side. I wrote to Aldi customer service for help and I received a form letter reply stating to take the entire can in original packaging back to the store for exchange or refund. Needless to say I no longer have the original packaging . All I asked was for a replacement of the one plastic bin inside that split. So here I am with a 70.00 purchase from Aldi that is defective and can do nothing about it. Product code 97338
