This Week at Aldi: The Ad for June 26, 2019

Each week we highlight a few of the more interesting items in the upcoming Aldi ad. Note that, in our area, the ad takes effect on Wednesday, but in some areas it may take effect as early as today, Sunday.

This week’s theme is picnic gear, water toys and accessories, items for the garage or workshop, pet products, and a few things for the kitchen and around the house.

The Most Interesting Thing We Saw:

• WORKZONE Tool Chest and Rolling Tool Cabinet, $99.99. Measures 22.4″ x 11.6″ x 41.7″ and features lock with keys.
• WORKZONE Garage Tool Holder, $8.99. This rack attaches to the wall and hold tools such as rakes and brooms.
• WORKZONE 4-Outlet Cord Reel, $12.99. Features a 25′ cord and lighted on/off switch with built-in circuit breaker.
• WORKZONE 2-Shelf Cabinet, $34.99. Measures 25.59″ x 14.57″ x 36.61″.

Pet products include:

• Easy Home 64-Quart Latching Box, $6.49. It looks like a Sterlite imitation clear box.

And finally, this little item:

• Keychain Quarter Holder, $0.99. This features a slot to hold your quarter for grocery cart retrieval at Aldi stores. We reviewed Aldi’s quarter holder keychain last year, and you can read about it here. We like several other quarter holders from other makers much better, including this one and this one.

Fresh Meat Special Highlights:

• Fresh St. Louis Pork Spareribs, $1.99 per lb.
• Go Wild! Sea Scallops, $9.99 for 10 oz.

Alcohol Highlights:

• Mar-Go-Rita Wine Cocktail, see price in store. 750 mL, from the U.S. Aldi states: “Flavors and aromas of lime with a hint of orange lead to a refreshing, well balanced finish. Enjoy over ice, blended with ice or chilled on its own. Garnish with a slice of lime and salt or sugar around the rim.”
• Casa Sangrioso Sangria Rose Box, see price in store. 3L, from Spain. Aldi states: “This fresh, sweet Rosé Sangria boasts flavors of ripe red berries and citrus fruits. Enjoy with appetizers, spicy fare, light salads and mild cheeses. Serve chilled with ice or sliced fruit.”
