This Week at Aldi: The Ad for October 2, 2019

Each week we highlight a few of the more interesting items in the upcoming Aldi ad. Note that, in our area, the ad takes effect on Wednesday, but in some areas it may take effect as early as today, Sunday.

The Most Interesting Thing We Saw:

Choceur Pumpkin Chocolates

 

  • Choceur Assorted Belgian Chocolate Pumpkins, $2.99. This 4.23-ounce box of pumpkin-shaped chocolates was so cute it couldn’t help catching our eye. The package states these are made of “crispy milk chocolate cream, vanilla cream, dark chocolate cream, salted caramel, and coffee ganache.” They’re made with UTZ certified cocoa.

ALDI Finds (Special Buy) Highlights:

Halloween decorations include:

  • Huntington Home Halloween Inflatable Assortment, $12.99 each. These are 4 feet tall. Choose a scarecrow, cat, Frankenstein, pumpkin, ghost, or spider.
  • Huntington Home Halloween Theme Projector, $12.99. Measures 4.75″ x 4.75″ x 8.87″ with a 10′ cord. Features pumpkin, witch, and skull designs or ghost, bat, witches, and pumpkin designs. Has a 10′ cord and projects up to 30′ away.
  • Huntington Home LED Battery-Operated Halloween Lights, $2.99 each. Choose pumpkin- or skull-shaped lights. Includes six-hour timer.
  • Huntington Home Halloween Flameless Candle Lantern, $6.99.
  • Huntington Home Halloween LED Canvas Art, $7.99 each. Features motion-activated lights and sound.

They’re good for corralling our random bits of tech, wires, headphones, and the like. They’re also useful for storing toys or other small, lightweight items.
  • Easy Home Vintage-Style Table Lamp, $19.99. Features a 63″ cord length and stands 20.27″ tall. Includes an E26 LED bulb.

Aldi states: “The ghoulish blend features red cherry aromas and berry fruit flavors that lead to a sweet, well-balanced finish. Pairs well with grilled meat, hearty beef dishes, spicy meals, savory cheeses or chocolate desserts.” Alcohol Content: 9.5%.
  • Connellys Pumpkin Spice Irish Country Cream, see price in store. 750 mL, from Ireland. Aldi states: “Rich and indulgent, enjoy Connellys Country Cream straight, on the rocks, in coffee or with your favorite dessert.” Alcohol Content: 13.9%.
