This Week at Aldi: The Ad for September 29, 2021

Each week we highlight a few of the more interesting items in the upcoming Aldi ad. Note that, in our area, the ad takes effect on Wednesday, but in some areas it may take effect as early as today, Sunday.

This week’s theme includes everything you need to transform your backyard for a “drive-in” movie night, cozy home accessories for “fall nesting,” Halloween candy, personal care and bathroom items, miscellaneous things for around the house, home safety equipment, pet products, and kitchen products.

We noticed this week’s enhanced online ad included several bigger items that were not included in the sneak peak print ad, including a vacuum, a sewing machine, a fire extinguisher, a blood pressure monitor, and more.

The Most Interesting Thing We Saw:

• Belavi Hanging Hammock Chair, $19.99. This comes in Striped, Solid, or Tropical designs and measures 22″ x 23.6″ x 54″. It’s made of cotton and polyester fabric for maximum comfort with a 39.3″ wooden spreader bar that provides stability. Includes removable pillow and hanging hardware. Portable and easy to hang, for outdoor use with a 250-lb. weight capacity and a one-year warranty. Aldi has been selling different types of hanging chairs a couple of times a year for the past few years, and they always seem to be a popular item. If you don’t have a tree, porch, or deck to hang this from, you can look for a special freestanding frame to purchase separately from other retailers (because Aldi doesn’t sell frames for these chairs). This chair used to be sold under the Gardenline Aldi label, but now it’s under Aldi’s new house brand, Belavi. You can read more info about the chair here.
