This Week at Aldi: The Aldi Weekly Ad for January 5, 2022

Last Updated on January 13, 2022

This Week at Aldi

Each week we highlight a few of the more interesting items in the upcoming Aldi weekly ad. Note that, in our area, the ad takes effect on Wednesday, but in some areas it may take effect as early as today, Sunday.

This week’s theme is self care products, miscellaneous items for around the home, and clothing and footwear.

Aldi continues to stealth release some products by stocking them in stores but not advertising them. This is due to ongoing shipping delays and supply chain snarls plaguing most retailers.

The Most Interesting Thing We Saw:

BEYOND MEAT Beyond Burger Plant-Based Patties

  • Beyond Meat Beyond Burger Plant-Based Patties, $3.99 for 8 ounces. Aldi brings these vegan burgers into stores occasionally, and they’re quite good. They’re made with pea protein and grill up just like a traditional burger. Read our review here.

That isn’t a bad price for the Beyond Meat burgers — about twice as expensive as ground beef, but cheaper than what my local supermarket charges for veggie burgers. I’ve bought these before (from the supermarket) and they’re pretty tasty; however, I’m the only one in the house who will eat veggie burgers currently (since my adult daughter no longer lives here), so I don’t buy veggie burgers very often.
