Trader Joe’s Recalls Lemony Arugula Basil Salad Kit Over Potential Undeclared Allergens

On May 27, 2022, Trader Joe’s issued a recall of the Lemony Arugula Basil Salad Kit over concerns that it may contain undeclared egg and wheat. According to Trader Joe’s, the product has the product code, or stock keeping unit (SKU), of 66293 and a best by date code of June 2, 2022.

This poses a danger specifically to people who have an egg or wheat allergy. Trader Joe’s has not reported any other problems with the product that might be an issue for people without egg or wheat allergies.

If you have an allergy to those two things, you can either throw out the product or return it to Trader Joe’s to get your money back.

If you purchased any Lemony Arugula Basil Salad Kit with the affected code and have an egg or wheat allergy, please do not eat it. We urge you to discard the product or return it to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund.
