This Week at Aldi: The Ad for October 18, 2017

Each week we highlight a few of the more interesting items in the upcoming Aldi ad. Note that, in our area, the ad takes effect on Wednesday, but in some areas it may take effect as early as today, Sunday.

This week’s theme includes kids’ bedroom stuff and kitchen items — specifically products related to baking. As we head into the holiday season soon, expect to see more kitchen products to help with preparing all those big meals.

The Most Interesting Thing We Saw:

• Ambiano Classic Stand Mixer, $59.99. This comes in assorted colors and features 6-speed rotary control with pulse function and a detachable splash guard with opening to add ingredients. It includes beater, dough hook and whisk, along with a stainless steel 4-quart bowl. We own its cheaper cousin, the Ambiano 4 Quart Stand Mixer, which works well for our needs in the kitchen.

• Ambiano 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker, $19.99. You also can pick up an

• Crofton Silicone Bakeware, $2.99. Aldi is also selling a Crofton 2-Piece Silicone Trivet or Pot Grip Set for $3.99.

• Crofton Small Baking Pans, $3.99. You can also purchase a Crofton 3-Piece Cookie Sheet Set for $6.99, which includes cookie sheets sized 17″ L x 11″ W, 15″ L x 10″ W and 13″ L x 9″ W. Or buy some Crofton Metal Bakeware for $2.99.
• Disney Marvel Kids’ Indoor/Outdoor Tent, $14.99. Comes in assorted character choices and measures 4′ L x 3′ W.
• Disney Marvel Kids’ Sleeping Bag, $14.99.
• Kids’ Sit and Store Ottoman, $14.99. Measures 14.8″ x 14.8″ x 15″.

• Huntington Home 5-Piece Kids’ Bedding Set, $24.99. Comes in assorted designs in twin or full sizes. While you’re at it, pick up a Huntington Home Royal Plush Blanket for $12.99. We own a similar twin-sized comforter and plush blanket from Aldi that have worked well.
• Disney 100% Cotton Sleep and Play, $6.99. Pajamas are sizes 3 months through 24 months.
• Children’s Slippers, $6.99. Sizes 5/6 through 11/12.
• Phoenix International My First Library, $8.99. Set of 12 books in assorted varieties.
• Toddlers’ and Children’s 3-Pack Socks, $2.49.
