Aldi Recalls Frozen Meatballs Due to Potential Metal Contamination
Aldi announced in a press release on February 23, 2026, that it is voluntarily recalling its Bremer Italian Style Meatballs due to potential contamination with a foreign material, specifically with metal.
The meatballs were supplied by Rosina Food Products, Inc. They were sold in 32-ounce bags with best-by date of 10/30/26 and timestamps between 17:08 through 18:20 printed on the back of label.
This recall affects select stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Vermont, West Virginia, and Washington D.C.
Customers who have these meatballs in their freezers should throw them away or return them to Aldi for a full refund.
